Well, that wasn't as bad as I expected.
I am sitting up in a chair this morning. The surgery went well except for findng some on my thyroid. So that's gone. All in all, not to bad. It's hard to remember that when I open my mouth nothing comes out. More later

Oh No | Cancer is back/Recurred
My bestest friend's cancer is back, and is incurable this time. The doctor said it's likely she has a few months to a year. She is doing chemo to hold it at bay for as long as possible. I don't even know what else to say. I found this community to be helpful three years ago when she diagnosed and was able to fight it off.

Had radiation dermatitis on breast and in arm pit, with radiation treatment. The skin was quite dry and irritated . Was difficult to keeping a dressing to area.

When I go home and my dog jumps up in my lap all of that seems to melt away. I'm starting to think that there is something to this "therapy dog" thing. Does anyone else find this is true for them? I used to think it was all a crock and just a way for people to get their animals on the plane.
