Apologies if this is a duplicate - I can't find where I thought I posted a link to this article a few minutes ago: https://www.biospace.com/article/researchers-id-immune-cell-that-can-attack-almost-all-cancer-cells/

I have known about the CAR-T therapy for awhile and as the article stated useful in treating some cancers but not all. This sounds like a great break through . I have always thought immunotherapy was a great promise for the future in treating cancer. Empowering our own immune system to combat and win over our cancer? I am all for it.

We surely hope for this. I just read that a new trial for leukemia and lymphoma patients using "Natural Killer" cells (most of us have a few of these) where they have good success. But this doesn't help those in treatment now.
