I am sitting up in a chair this morning. The surgery went well except for findng some on my thyroid. So that's gone. All in all, not to bad. It's hard to remember that when I open my mouth nothing comes out. More later

Up in the chair and in a few days out of that hospital and home. I am very glad it was “ not as bad as I expected.” You know those well wishes are going to keep coming by the barrel, truck, and boat full for a progressive and good recovery. Kudos to Donna for all that she has done and all the love and support she surrounds you with.

How wonderful that you're feeling perky after your surgery. Let that feed your confidence for a quick and complete recovery. Even though you no longer have your vocal cords, you still have your "voice," and we're all delighted to hear it.

Greg, it’s great to hear from you so soon. You are something else (as people used to say)! I’m so glad the surgery is finally over, and now you can recuperate and move forward.

Hey Greg, you have surprised even me, who already had wild expectations for you. I, somehow, knew that you would do well. You continue to blow me away! I thought I was tough...HA! Greg, you rock brother!

My best to you and your whole support posse.

I am so glad that things went better than you expected. We often get ourselves worked up before a procedure, and it usually isn't as bad as we think it will be. It is great to hear from you. Get as much rest as you can in a hospital. Keep up the good work.

Well, that just made my day! Although, I kind of think you'd say that, even if it was worse than you thought. So happy to hear that you fared well, the doctor is happy with the margins and you can just focus on recovering. Get some rest!

Wonderful news-hoping you get to see the Super Bowl from your favorite chair. But as others have said, take it slow and don't overdo it. The joy you bring to all of us is such a gift-you are a very special man. Hugs to you and your lovely wife!
