Online mammogram?
I just received a reminder for my upcoming mammogram appointment, but it says *online.* Online? A mammogram? (because that's NOT happening). Has anyone heard of this? I am to have a followup exam, immediately following the mammogram by my PA and it does not say online. My last doctor exam was done on the phone, which is…

One of my issues is still with me with no improvement, the fluid on or behind my left ear.
The ENT clinic where I get the clinical trial drug injection looked at it again this week and suggested that if it hasn't cleared by the next visit in 2 weeks he will poke a hole in my eardrum for it to drain. I'm sure that sounds worse than it really is. But has anyone had this done? Is this the same thing that kids…

How is everyone doing with the pandemic?
I live in Georgia, and our state now has the highest rate of infection of any state (according to the Washington Post and reported today in the Atlanta Journal). So I'm erring on the side of caution and continue to order groceries for pick-up only. How is everyone managing?

Procedure or Surgery | Colon surgery (colectomy or hemicolectomy)
ER Dr. Screwed up and ordered another CT with contrast that caused a perforated bowel, so not only did he end up with a colostomy on the left side and removal of a section of colon on the right side.

Procedure or Surgery | Liver transplant
I realize a lot has been left out of our journey. After my last post our daughter had 3+ mostly healthy years. She did try Nexavar/Sorafenib two more times at lower dosages and could not tolerate it, lost all her hair (tolerable), but the rashes and skin issues were not tolerable. Eventually her bile ducts no longer worked…

Radiation experience
I’ve just been told that my lung cancer has metastasized to two spots in my brain and I will need radiation. So I feel a little blindsided right now. I’m looking to learn what others might have experienced. Thanks for any input.

Finling supplemental policy claims
I am disgusted with how the insurance companies have turned into places that try to not pay a claim first, then make you prove that they owe it or owe more before they pay what they should. I have a cancer policy that I lucked out and bought just before my 3rd diagnosis. We have wore that thing out! I recently sent in an…
