The oral surgeon is suggesting Hyperbaric Oxygen treatments before and after pulling them. Have you done this? How did it go?

It was suggested to me to have it done too. My insurance wouldn't cover it, however, so I had to skip it. A friend and fellow laryngectomee, had it done and said he grew hair back on his head in places where it had stopped growing years earlier. The treatment does its job very well.

This was about 10 years ago, but at that time the cost I was quoted was 1500 per treatment and they wanted me to have 30 of them. 45K with no coverage was not an option.

My advice is go for it. I have been trying to find an oral surgeon to do it for ten years. I now have a chronic infection in my mouth. I haven't yet found a oral surgeon but I know there are some here in Washington. I don't know how I would pay for it but since then I have developed other problems that make any surgery risky So my advice is DO IT NOW.

Teeth that are dead cause health issues. Get them pulled.
