De-masking in your community?
In the past, when the pandemic began, we had some spirited discussions here about wearing masks. Some were all-timers, and some of us were some-timers. Now that so many have been vaccinated I have noticed my small community becoming more and more unmasked. Stores here have signs now asking for masks UNLESS you have been…

Thankful Thursday?
Shall we try for a Thankful Thursday post today? It might be worth it just to see if we continue to get notifications? It sounds like a lot of us have some heavy things going on in our personal lives and hopefully we can reach out and help each other on this site - like we love to do. Meanwhile I will start us off today…

Have you found that you have continuity of care and does that make your "journey" easier to navigate
I just got a letter from my oncology services management announcing that my THIRD oncologist since starting this journey in 2017 had departed and my next follow-up will be with a new doctor and complete stranger to me. I hate this stuff. I live in a mostly rural area with a small hospital, like so many, struggling to keep…

Saturday Serenity
I am up early this Saturday and just observing things in the world. At this time when the world seems buzzing, I am reflecting on the quiet things in life. The past year with COVID put us all on lockdown and so many people are ready to resume "life as normal." I am ready for things to feel more "normal" too. I have seen…

Is This Over?
When I arrived to WhatNext almost a year and a half ago, this was a thriving community of helpful people with a lot of knowledge and even more heart. No doubt, most of that was due to Greg's encouragement and diligent moderation. He offered so much knowledge and encouragement to all of us. We certainly miss him very much.…

Metastasized
Has anyone experienced metastasizing with or having a stage 3A, Gleason 7, not spread out of prostate. Good health, urination good with supplements.
-
Other Care | CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine)
Modified Genetic Citrus hope will work to stop from metastasizing. Boosting immune system to max with radical diet, no meat, no sugar, and more.
-
Decision Point | To continue with alternative treatments or surgery.
Fear of metastasizing but am willing to continue alternative due to urinate well, sleep well, always have had back issues so maybe not prostate related.
