Ticklingcancer - Thank you for the link. I've been trying to find his obituary to no avail. For some reason I thought he lived in Paris, TN. The video memorial was beautiful. We will always miss you, Greg.

What a tremendous loss for the WhatNext family. Greg remains and will always be an inspiration to me. His humor, strength and advice guided me through dark times. Both my husband and I send our condolences to his wife, family and friends.

The video is a touching tribute to Greg’s life. The guest book is another place to leave a message for the family. I saw some of our WhatNext members had already left messages there too. I’m sure Donna appreciates our support right now. We are all grieving the loss of such a fine man.

I haven't be on this site for awhile, but followed Greg's progress when I could. I am so sad to hear this - through it all, he kept taking one more step. So creative with his woodworking. So inspiring. My deepest condolences to Donna (his "sweetie") and his entire family. Please take some comfort in knowing that he touched many lives with his goodness and compassion.

Russ, I just watched the interview you posted. Thank you for sharing it. It is heartening to see and hear Greg and you (and sad, of course, that Greg is no longer alive to continue his life and work).

    How are you doing?

What an amazing man, his strength and courage has helped many to travel this unknown road. His postings were always so positive even on his bad days. He had an amazing gift of soothing you with his encouraging words. He often reached out from his hospital bed during intense treatments. He cared for all of us so much that even then he wanted to share. He will be greatly missed and I for one am so honored to have gotten to know him through What Next. My prayers are with Donna, the family and his friends. Thank you Russ.

Russ, your post is a blessing to all of us in TWO ways: 1- We got to hear your story and be encouraged to know you are a 20 year survivor from a very dire diagnosis. What a beacon of hope you give us! 2 - You allowed us to see and hear a man we have respected and loved, and will miss so much. It is like a *tonic* to see this video. thank you so much.

Thanks MarcieB...the only downside to my pancreatic cancer after 19 years it came back in the form of stomach cancer. However I will beat it just like I did before. I am so glad that the video did something for you and the others. My best to all of you...Russ
