I had Vertigo also a couple of months ago also, I panicked and thought maybe a tumor or the brain or worse, so I went to my onc and it turns out, after getting my ears checked and a MRI that it was just that, Vertigo. After about a week, it went away on its own. Hope this helps.

Didn't get last weeks digest - and the one today is filled with blog crap from letlifehappen. I don't know how much longer I can hang on here. You and my others in my tribe have been heaven sent these past years. There must be a way we can continue. I'll think about it while I'm on pain meds!

The Chelsea Library has a monthly book sale, if you are interested I will find out the dates. It's a good deal, $5 for a grocery bag full of goodies! Plus videos and such.
The Dexter Library has very interesting programs, But they seem to want to do ZOOM ones now, which is intimidating to people like me! In fact, they are having a talk on spirits & ghosts coming up soon. I will try to check it out, the library says it is easy to do. We will see!!!

Hi, MarcieB. I do not have a response to your question about "Side Effects Changes". I'm writing because I'm wondering... Do you know how your question ended up in tonight's (Sept. 26) Digest? It isn't listed on the Questions page. I'm just wondering so I know how to have a question posted if I ever want to do that again. Thanks.

MarcieB, I see I missed seeing some comments (no Digest). I guess I’ll have to look at people’s walls, at least until (maybe maybe) we get the daily Digest, or even start seeing questions posted under Questions!

Hi Marcie. I want to start my "earth angels" posts with you. You are my first target because we have gotten to know each other pretty well. I love that smile in your picture. It just radiates the positive nature in your soul. It reflects encouragement and kindness.
You are definitely one of my encouragers and I thank you for the times you lift me up when I am not feeling all that worthy. I thank you for always pointing me to the source of all joy and mercy and grace. I got in late on this today, so this evening and tomorrow are your day in the sun. Know that you always have a special place in my heart no matter what day it is.

Hi MarcieB, I have had both does of the Moderna vaccine and other than a sore arm a day afterwards have had no side effects. Last injection was in April. Still wear a mask when inside public places because of this irritating variant. My county is only about 36% vaccinated at present.

I'm so late on this, but so glad that you are on here still. I'm sorry to read of your issue. How are you doing 5 months later? I could use a lift, but at my age I'm just not on it. After my lumpectomy in 2006 the Dr. suggested that I have the water drained. I counted my blessing feeling that God took care of it so I didn't need reconstructive surgery. Wearing a good bra, no one can tell just how funky I look. Luckily, my husband doesn't care as long as I'm still here.

I found a question you asked about 6 mos ago regarding Lymphedema. All of the responses where right on. I also have it, but not bad. Was your issue resolved? How are you doing with it?

Marcie, I saw your post about how you are bummed about what is going on with the site. I can't help but wonder if its not partially due to the world's obsession with not allowing anyone to have an opinion that MIGHT offend someone. Because we just can't have that can we? Ugh.
I have a strong suspicion that someone has made some complaints lately. Do you also find it more than a little coincidental that the site suddenly crashed just after Easter?
I think you and I had hoped to stimulate discussion with light hearted banter. Maybe we need to refocus with cancer related questions. Let's see how that goes?

Marcie, I don't see the moderator post where he thanks me and Carool. I have looked and looked and I cannot find that. If something I said was perceived as a snub, please tell me what I said because I can assure you I didn't mean it that way. I was talking to my husband this morning about "my new friend Marcie." He is so funny because he's like "A real friend or an online friend?" I told him that by his definition, online, but I considered you a real friend and it didn't matter that we only knew each other online. I told him I was sure we would be good friends in REAL life if we could meet.
So I consider you my friend. I don't want to hurt you. AND I think you are invincible, so there's that!

For some reason I am not able to post my answer to the post of your question today. Your question is in the recent activity of today's digest. I am amazed that I am in the minority of getting and reading the digest. I don't always receive it everyday. I have no idea why.

Marcie, I wanted to break away from your post on Sandy's wall to address our conversation about hair thinning/fine hair. You were talking about a silk/satin pillowcase. I got one by Kitsch at Ulta, The usual cost advertised in $19. I got mine as a "gift with purchase" promotion when I bought some Matrix conditioner and other styling products. It does seem to have helped a bit.

Between having night sweats and sleeping like a hurricane. I toss and turn and kick and.. well I am not a good sleeping partner.
Anyhow, I am surprised I haven't worn all of the hair off my head. LOL

I had my hair cut today and I discussed products and tips with my stylist. She gave me some good information about my hair being thin and fine, oh and curly now, about how it needs some weight at the ends to keep it from frizzing. She was also telling me to spray on some leave in conditioner after I wash it when I get out of the shower, to not really towel dry it but to use a microfiber towel or turbie-twist and just keep it up in that while getting ready in the morning. She was saying how regular cotton towels tend to rub the hair too much, especially if you have thinner and finer hair. Then use some sort of an oil/serum on the ends to keep that weight there. I am going to see how it works and also try a new Redken bonding shampoo.

I agree about hesitancy to try a different medication if the side effects for the one you are on seem manageable. I have had a little joint pain, but it has been sort of random and not bad enough for me to consider making a change.
