Prayers for Greg

I usually check out the What's Next Digest when I first open my computer, and I am always a little disappointed when it skips a day. But, now, I find myself being disappointed when there is still no post from Greg. It has been 20 days since he left a word here about the stomach tube craziness. I know we are ALL concerned about him, aren't we? I just want him to know that he is on our hearts.

Absolutely. He is the bedrock of this site. And hopefully all is going well for Greg and Donna (aka Sweetie).0

Yes, me too.....I continue to hope for a quick post from him. We are all pulling and praying, Greg!0

Same here. I’m eagerly waiting to hear from one of them whenever they’re up to it. Hoping and praying for the best.0
-
I am, too. I’m thinking of him and Donna.0

I am devastated by his absence from WhatNext. We work so closely together for so many blog posts, but always via email. I haven't heard from Greg or Donna. They are in my prayers.0

Thank you all! He's had us all worried!Dr.'s were in this morning. His blood clots are desolving and making slow progress.. Not been much to post until today. He is feeling a little better which I'll take after these 18 days. He's been sitting in chair most of the morning.Hopefully he continues to get better and stronger!! We thank you all for the concern,, prayers and anything you want to throw our way! Much love to you all.Superman is still hanging in there!!0

I hope all is well, or as well as it can be. I pray he is getting the help and relief he needs. It is so different without him, but I know that we all know too well how taxing this battle can be.

Gosh, I hate to hear that you guys are still at Vandy and still facing health issues. This has been a horrible experience for you both, Donna and Greg. You both remain in my thoughts and prayers!!
Thank you so much for the update!!!0 -
Thank you very much for the update, Donna. Please tell Superman we are with him in spirit. Love to both of you.0

Donna, thank you for the update. Please give Superman my best and tell him I hope he can soon resume flying and saving people. Big hugs.0

It is great to get an update, Donna. I think of you both everyday and hope that there is improvement. It is amazing to me how much I can care about someone that I have never met. I will continue to send prayers and good thoughts to you both. Take care of yourself too, Donna.0

I feel the same way, beachbum. Donna posted a photo on the Pinboard and I got choked up when I saw Greg because it was so good to see him. I have a friend who uses the phrase "family of the heart". I think that's what we are here on WhatNext.0
-
Bug, what a beautiful phrase. Thank you.0

You, are so right, Bug. Thank you for mentioning the Pinboard. I never think to look there for notices. I usually just go to the homepage and read the questions and comments there. I need to explore my horizons more.

They're both in my prayers before and since I wrote on Donna's page a few days ago.0

Thank you again, Donna. It's like floating in a canoe somewhere without oars. Greg means so much to all of us. We worry about you too going through this with him. Try to pause and rest every chance you get.0

Ditto on what everyone else has said!0

What a relief to know there is some improvement. I’ve been praying to hear a bit of good news.0

Hello everyone I'm Deana, Greg's sister in law and Donna's sister. Our Superman is still fighting the fight ❤ He is still at Vanderbilt Hospital. I'm here with him tonight. Our brother stayed with him last night to give Sissy a much needed break again. Our goal is to get him back home and in his recliner soon. We thank you all so much for the prayers and well wishes. Please keep them coming. Goodnight and God bless you all!0

@DeanaBeana - thank you for the update!! And for all of you who are playing tag-team. I know Donna was really glad to get out of the hospital for a respite. My husband was in the hospital only a few days, and I could only visit hours at a time, and I was so relieved when I finally got to bring him home. I look forward to the day when we learn they've gotten to go home!0

Oh thank you sooo much for posting Deanna and sweet Donna! Same here with checking all the time. Greg has BEEN What-Next for all of us...and I can't express how much he has helped me...and so many others on our own journeys. Think of him daily and so happy he has other family around - and that Donna got a much-needed break. Aim for that recliner Greg!!! We need your wit and wisdom!!! Much love and many blessings - Pamela0
