DeanaBeana, I saw that you posted an update about Greg not only on your page but on several other pages where people are asking about him. That was really nice of you to to that. Everyone loves Greg and Donna and is concerned. I know everyone really appreciates your effort to update us. I'm sure his situation is hard for you, too. I hope you are well.0October 2020

Thank you so much. I am 12 of 33 Radiation and 4 of 7 Chemo treatments into the process. My taste buds and desire to eat are totally shot (already,) this happened way faster than anticipated. I had a G-tube (feeding tube) installed last Thursday, still adjusting to that.
Truthfully I'm still adjusting to the whole idea of having cancer.
Does all that sound familiar?0November 2013 -

Hello DeanaBeana, good to hear from you. I have recouped from the March surgery. This one didn't take as long as the others. About two months, but still trying to recoup from that major surgery I had last November with them taking the muscles:( I am still sore, especially when I pick up stuff or try to turn around in the bed. Then I experience a lot of pain. I am awaiting, which I hope, is the last surgery to this ordeal. Hopefully within the month or so. How have you been? Thanks for thinking of me, I appreciate it.0July 2013

Hello DeanaBeana, thanks for checking on me. I am recovering again from my 6th surgery and hopefully my 7th surgery will be in August and I pray I will be through with this mess. I have been under the influence of pain killers for the past several weeks since my most recent surgery was March 7, 2013. But, I was still recovering from my November 6, 2012 surgery:) take care0March 2013

Thank you DeanaBeana! Now I have 2 interviews, so my odds are even better. One is more of a drive and the other is pretty close. Pray for me and I'll let you know when I know-either way. I'm pretty much a professional interviewee now so I'm not even nervous. If God sees fit for me to have one of these jobs I will. i'll do my best! Thanks again for the support, kimg090February 2013

Hello DeanaBeana, thanks for following up on me:) They finally took the 6th drain out after being in 8 weeks:( It was a rough time and it still was draining 40cc in 24 hr. I then had to contend with the swelling because draining was going back into my body, so the past 10 days have been pretty sore. But I am told that my 5th surgery on this breast cancer situation will be in March, then maybe one more.0January 2013

DeanaBeana, Just had my first mammogram since treatment. Also had to have an ultrasound. Now need to have another breast MRI (which I don't tolerate well) and two biopsies of suspiscious areas. Very nervous! Juls0January 2013

DeanaBeana,Thanks for the words of encouragement. I am doing well overall. Just had another major surgery. They found a mass on my ovary then an MRI showed there were actually 5 masses. Had a total hysterectomy 3 weeks ago but the good news is there was no cancer this time. Hard recovering from surgery after just completing radiation therapy. Sounds like your friend is very lucky to have you as a caregiver. It is so hard to be positive when first diagnosed and going through treatment. Hopefully your friends outlook will improve soon.
