Donna, would you give us an update if Greg isn't up to it? Or Jane, it seems you keep in touch with him outside of these posts - have you heard how he's doing? Or ... anyone else who knows ... update, please?
Prayers that they are finding a solution to his feeding tube issues and any other problems he's been encountering.

I’m also anxious to hear something from Greg or Donna. Hopefully they are all just resting at home after a long week.0

Thank you, LiveWithCancer. I hadn’t checked in here yesterday. I look forward to hearing how Greg is.0

I, too, have been thinking that I haven't seen anything from Greg recently. I'm looking forward to hearing how he's doing whenever he's up to it.0
-
just this morning thinking the same thing. Thoughts and prayers for Greg.0

He has been on my mind a lot lately. I hope that means he is doing better.0
-
He's been on my mind too. I haven't heard from him or Donna. From a late reply to one of the posts here, it seemed like he's been hospitalized, probably related to the stomach tube issue.

Sorry thought maybe he posted .Tuesday he had Dr.appt.they could'nt get him into gi clinic. So his dr. Said the quickest way to get it addressed was to admit him into the hospital .So that is where we are. Seems last week when we went to ER they put a #18 tube in when originally it was a#20! So yesterday they put the right size 20 tube back in.So just been pump feeding him and now have to go to the way he does it at home. With a syringe to make sure it's not going to leak.So leaking a small.amount. So hopefully we get to go home soon.Been here 5 days this go round.0

I am glad to hear he is doing relatively "okay." I will continue to say prayers for both of you. I can imagine this has taken quite the toll on you both. Keep us posted when you can. Obviously taking care of Greg comes first, but any news you can share eases our worried minds.

Donna, thanks for updating us. We were all so worried about both of you.0
-
I am also glad to have this update, because like all of you, I have been thinking of Greg! I feel so bad he has to deal with this. These unexpected complications can sure zap our energy, and we need all the energy we can get when we are fighting as hard as Greg. It was kind of Donna to update us.0

Yes, Donna, thank you very much for letting us know what caused the sudden silence from Greg. So glad you checked the site and saw our concerns for both of you. I pray that he can go home with fewer problems this time and the both of you can get some much-needed rest.0

May God bless Greg and make him well0

Update on Greg.We are still here at the hospital. He had some fluid on his right lung so that's been drained. He was having lots of mucus last night and had to be suctioned several times. He said he felt better. After having that done. And waiting on gi Dr.'s again because the tube is still leaking a small amount. He is resting well and that's where we are on day 7.He and I thank you all for your concern! Hopefully this gets him back on track soon! Much love to you.all.....0

Thank you so much for the update, Donna. You obviously have plenty going on and the updates are sure appreciated. Everyone is pulling for our guy Greg. Much love to you two, too.0

Do they know why he has so much fluid on his lungs? That's worrisome (says she with lung cancer and who assumes anything to do with lungs might mean something awful).
You're an incredible wife and caregiver, Donna! I know he appreciates you (because he tells us so all of the time) ... and he should!!!! Being the caregiver is harder sometimes than being the patient. I think that is especially true for cancer patients. Thank you so much for keeping us updated. You both remain in our thoughts and prayers, for sure!!!
I just hope when you leave this hospital, you'll both have a bit of time that is completely problem-free! Has the swelling and all of that ceased? The big blister-looking things and the swelling face? I hope so!!!!0 -
Thanks so much for the update, Donna. We all are pulling for Greg. You are the incredible caregiver that Greg has told us about. Thank you so much.0
-
Thank you, Donna, for taking the time to keep us informed. Greg and you are in our thoughts. I hope Greg is soon feeling well enough so you two can go home. Big hugs to you both.0
