I would like to apologize to all I upset with my opinions and thoughts. Whether they were just not in line with your opinions, or they were stupid, ill-advised and uninformed, they are not welcome and don't belong here. I guess that's what I get for believing I am allowed to have a voice in this world. I have known all my life that that I didn't, and for some stupid reason I thought maybe I would try one more time.
I do sincerely apologize.0 -
Legaljen you have no need to apologize. The question asked for opinions even more it asked for feelings. Now how can we have a discussion when everyone has the same opinion. Of course I like to have facts to back-up opinions but that is just because I am a retired librarian We all have a right to disagree with opinions. What we need to do is refrain from name calling . And I absolutely cannot find any name calling in any of your posts.0

Legaljen--you do have a voice, but others don't need to agree. That is part of a discussion.
About 10 years ago, in Whatnext, I was told to leave America, because I stood with the right to protest. The difference is these protesters of today are posing a health risk. Those back then were not posing a health risk to anyone. Nobody here has to;d you to leave America and nasty things.
I will tell you what I told those Whatnexters. America was settled with people that disagreed with their governments. We protested-Boston Tea Party for one- we rebelled and went to war- and we won. Then we had to keep fighting against the British for our independence. People and families that didn't get along too well moved west- Daniel Boone comes to mind. My German side of the family did that. My German grandmother's family fled the Hamburg Duchy, because they printed out pamphlets about voting for local officials, instead of the Duke-prince or whatever he was appointing his lackeys.
I still support the right of people to protest, as long as they do not endanger anybody--especially a child or older people. This COVID 19 is killing people. Almost every plague/illness is human to human infection-leprosy, 1918 Spanish Flu, HIV, flus, chicken pox, whooping cough, so why would people treat this any differently? and this really kills, a whole lot.
Having people disagree with you, does not mean that you don't have a voice. It means they heard you and disagreed.
I respect people that I disagree with, but that is getting hard to do, because oeople take it personally. Remember how they say- Don't talk about religion or politics? There's a reason for that.
I didn't see where anybody called anybody a name in this question-Yoy didn't and we didn't. We are more open about this in FB, Twitter. For me it's the Washington Post. When Republicans say they are sorry- these jerks call them names and tell them they already sold their souls. I get after the jerks, and I apologize to those changing their minds about Trump and feel disappointed.
Anyway, you have a voice and mind. You just can't expect people to change their minds, which is what you said, yourself..

ProPublica revealed last week that Zach Fuentes, President Donald Trump’s former deputy chief of staff, formed a company in early April and 11 days later won a $3 million contract with IHS to provide specialized respirator masks to the agency for use in Navajo hospitals. The contract was granted with limited competitive bidding.
The masks were double the normal price and the masks were not usable.0 -
That is unconscionable. Also doesn't surprise me in the least. I know alot of bad words and things like this make me want to scream them all. People of conscience need to make themselves heard. VOTE!0
