Just wondering if you are still out there. A few of us have been trying to keep WhatNext functioning. Hadn't noticed any posts from you and decided to touch base. Every time I make Beans & Greens I think of you.0February 2022

Hi, BoiseB. Some of us WN oldtimers are writing to others who haven’t been on WN recently, to find out how they are. We’d love to hear how you’re doing.0April 2021

There has been a little return to activity in the site in recent days but I haven't seen any post from you. Hope all is well, you are continuing to cope with Covid19 and are staying safe. I think I am going to make "Beans and Greens" tomorrow. Winter is threatening so a good time for a pot of hearty soup!0November 2020

Checking in on you. How are you doing? one of these days, when we can travel again, we need to get together. In the meantime, I'm sending good thoughts, healing energy, and love.0May 2020

Hi. Well we are both in states with too many people with the virus that is for sure. I have plenty of food and medication on hand so less trips out in public. That only makes sense. We are not spring chickens and have to realize those above 60 are more susceptible. I was just watching the latest about the virus when I saw your message. Testing kits are suppose to be widespread by next week so that is good. We just have to become homebodies and limit our out and abouts.0March 2020

BoiseB, thank you for starting the "Get Well Wishes for Greg" post. That was a good idea.0January 2020

I was worried about you. Glad to see you still lurking. Hope you are doing well. Yeah, I even asked Greg if he'd heard anything. I'm bad... Anyway, virtual hugs!0December 2019

Hey, BoiseB! I'm on a short break from chemo and wondering if it might be about time we actually met in person. No idea about your schedule but I am happy to drive down to your place and maybe take you out to lunch? If that doesn't work for you, I understand. I'm open to other options - just let me know.0July 2019

Hi Boise. Haven't seen you around a whole lot lately. Thought I'd stop by and say hi. Hope things are calming down for you and you are feeling better.0July 2019

Hi BoiseB. I haven't seen your name anywhere on WhatNext lately. I hope you're doing okay. I wonder if you got your MRI results. Praying for you.0June 2019
-
@BoiseB, checking in on you. By now, I am nearly certain you have had your tests (MRI?) and should have a better idea of what you're facing. Know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. I'm hoping you got good news, but your absence from WN makes me scared that isn't the case.0June 2019

BoiseB, dropped in to tell you what poignant and wonderful Mother’s Day miracle your best Mother’s Day was. Although I never cheated death with the birth of my first born,a boy, he did. My childbirth was rough with the cord wrapped around his neck when he came out. A nurse noticed him having convulsions hours later and he was rushe to a Children’s Hospital. His first week of life was spent in neonatal ICU. At one point my husband had to make the decision weather to keep him on life support or not. We also were told he probably would be a vegetable. I was still in the hospital and had no idea the seriousness of my baby’s condition. Thankfully, with my dad’s support, all measures were taken to save our son. Much like your daughter, he is a healthy smart, hard working 47 year old today. What blessings we both have.0May 2019

Whoops, sorry not we, he, was told our son would probably be a vegetable.0May 2019

Hi Boise, I just saw your post. I don't visit my Wall very often. When it rains, it pours. I'm not having any health problems-but I have clusters of same type problems.
Like I was taking Ryder to dog school- the phone started ringing when I pulled in-- Ryder was going nuts from seeing the other dogs--found out that my son and daughter were in one of those Texas storms while they called and hail just busted the windshield. Daughter hung up, I calmed Ryder down, got out of the truck, and I locked my keys in the truck. Just that type of day I guess. Thank God nobody was hurt.
So you are in the elite Troy Aikman club. -lots of problems from concussions. He had to quit being quarterback for Dallas because of that.
How is Kandi Kat doing? Do you still use Chewy? I just got Jax his shots, some heartworm prevention-a bit over $300. Ouch.
Talk to you later0May 2019 -
Hi @BoiseB ... we haven't heard from you for a few days so I thought I would check in. I hope everything is all right and you're just too busy living life to be on WhatNext.0April 2019

All I can suggest to keep from falling is to hold on to wall-one arm up and leaning on it. I've been doing that for years when the doctors give me a bad med-Tylenol or my ears are bothering me.0March 2019

Hey there... just wondering when you'll be in Washington. Although I'm having knee surgery soon and won't be able to connect anytime soon, I'm still excited to have you as a neighbor.0January 2019

Hi BoiseB- WashingtonLady, hope you are settling into your new home without too many bah humbugs. Wishing you peace and contentment in the New Year. I have missed your posts and looking forward to your return to WhatNext.0December 2018

I hope your move is going smoothly. I believe you have family in the area. So, you may have already chosen a provider. I received treatment at Providence in Lacey. If there are any questions you may have, I am here to answer them.0December 2018

BoiseB, if you really are a Believer (Christian), you would believe the Bible teachings that once you ask for forgiveness, God forgives you, you have a CLEAN SLATE, and you won't go to He--. Although we are supposed to try to live by the Ten Commandments, nobody is perfect. Sometimes we fail and have to ask for forgiveness for that sin ONLY because the others were already forgiven. . . (Of course, we have to be sincere because God knows what we think---we can't plan a murder because we will ask for forgiveness afterwards.)
If someone or another religion have taught you that you can't be forgiven, you need to talk to a pastor or counselor about it, so you can believe in God's promises for you. You deserve them as much as anyone, so claim them. Don't allow religions other than Christian to confuse your beliefs.0November 2018 -
