I haven't ever done chemo, and hear that this is so much better... and I believe that. But at 48, this is the only time I have ever felt fatigue, chronic pain and mental fog. So, while it could be worse, it is still difficult to navigate.

Oncologist decided to try Zomeda instead of Pro-lia. He was moving all his patients. Ended up in Er next morning. Apparently allergic. Affected my heart. Now I am back to just vit d+calcium.

Allergic reaction to 1st chemo, gave steroids and slowed drip. Omitted 1 medication this time. Depression, anxiety, fatigue, bladder problems. Pain, nausea and vomiting.

In-laws don't understand that I need to watch out for small illnesses (bugs, colds, flu, etc) and think that I'm over dramatic, that I prevent my husband from attending family functions.
