Hello Greg,
I have been out of touch for a week or so. How is your "denture experience" going? I will be starting the extraction process in about 3 months.
I sincerely hope all is much better for you.
Best regards,

Greg, can you help me? I keep posting a question about radiation. The question is:
How long do side effects seem to last from radiation? I began having night sweats, feeling hot, feeling like I had the flu, fatigue during the last few weeks of radiation in Feb.-not severe, but I had them. They lasted for about a month after radiation stopped. Do the side effects come back?
I really began improving during April. I was walking each dog about 4 blocks each-resting-doing dishes-cleaning a little. I'm really having problems. My main oncologist is out of the country. My oncology radiologist thought it was a virus and low thyroid, my PCP thinks that it's radiation and low thyroid. Nobody here on whatnext can give medical advice, but surely there might be some people that know if there are radiation flare ups that will hit me every so often. I'll have a few good days, and I'll start dusting, etc. I work a little- rest- work-sleep a lot - and I'm hit with bad flu symptoms. I'm thinking that I never got over the infection from the dog bite. My antibiotics were mishandled. Given the wrong stuff in too small of a dose at the ER. Then released from the hospital without enough. I protested-I went to my pharmacy and called others trying to find where a script might be. This was on the weekend. I might have a low grade secondary infection from that. I just need to know if radiation symptoms come back so I know how to talk to the doctors.
Greg is there anyway to get this posted. I tried posting this on Sat. and I posted it this morning-Monday morning.
I know that I posted it twice. I saw it in the questions and then it disappeared when I checked a few hours later each time.
Thank you for helping me.0August 2013 -

Hi Greg: One tumor was found in my small intestine had metastasize to a lymph node and was removed by a small bowel resection. Nine years later three new tumors appeared in my liver. One being centralized where the other two were near end of right lobe. A right hepatic lobectomy was performed, "sixty percent." I really never wanted to read the post Operative Report, however I needed to know and I did just that. There is a benign tumor resting in my right kidney "Yea, it's benign." However, when you are told by your dr's, that you will always have this condition, it weights heavily on your mind. Fortunately, I rather hear it straight than not hear it at all.0August 2013

Dear Lord it's Friday again. How many Fridays have I faced with this cancer inside me? I've lost count. But I haven't lost my faith. Because this is the day that every thing turns around for me.
My cancer will be healed this Friday. My pain will go away this Friday. I won't feel sick this Friday.I wont be unloved this Friday. My hair will begin to grow this Friday.I won't want to vomit constantly this Friday.I will thank my doctors and the pharmaceutical companies for all their help this Friday. My family will cry with happiness, this Friday. And I will thank you my GOD for curing me of this disease. This Friday.
I will hear bells in the air and shout horay for me. My eyes open and I wake up. It's only my alarm going off thats right its Friday. I awaken Oh GOD another day with cancer. Oh well I will fight on with GOD at my side and maybe it'll soon be next Friday.the Friday that I'm cured.

Hi Greg -- I want to send a PM to "Positively," and from a quick search of the message board it seems best to go through you. Can you pass on my email address to him, or tell me how to go about this? I offered to share my doctor's contact information, and don't want to post this publicly on his wall.
Thanks in advance,

the building is an old one Henry Ford Hospital off West Grand Blvd. The City founded by the French is Detroit (Been getting some bad press lately) Not far from an area called Willow Run where we produced 1 B24 Liberator Bomber every 55 minutes 24/7 - also called the arsenal of democracy once upon a time....0July 2013
