I also had he "locking" sensation in my right thumb . The onset was quite sudden and left a couple of months later on it's own. My doctor said that "trigger finger" is very common with use of an aromatase inhibitor...good luck...hope yours gets better!!0March 2014

Hi Lola08! I saw that you are on Arimidex and Faslodex. I've been on Arimidex for years but my oncologist decided to add Faslodex because my markers have been climbing lately...so I got my first injection yesterday. And boy I feel awful today...is that normal? I can barely move and get out of bed and I wanted to reach out to somebody else on this drug combination and I found you. Does it get better? Take care and Thanks so much!0November 2013

Cold Caps worked oK ....I do not still have my long hair but I had enough hair where I did not need to wear a wig. My hair is starting to grow in well and I am glad I did the cold caps.0November 2013

I'll go ahead and put the poster on the pinboard (or wherever it is that one can post full-size!) I wish the icon pictures were a bit bigger so we could see all the members better. GregP gave me the idea when he got his Tran poster done. Go to Tran Creative, like their page and there is a link where survivors can post info and get a poster done - for free! It's a wonderful service and wonderful to see their "wall" of posters. (Love your picture - we also have a bit of commonality. I was IIIB at initial diagnosis, made it 12 years until Stage IV recurrence this past year.)0October 2013

I didn't realize you had sent me a specific question - still not sure I know all the "ins and outs" of using this site. You asked about my current treatment plan. Initially, once we found out the cancer had spread - mostly to bones, a few other items, no critical organs - we went back on Femara and added drugs to directly address cone strength. Forgot the name of the first infusion for that, and then moved to monthly Xgeva shots. The tumor markers seemed to respond in the right direction; however, they soon turned around and started climbing month-over-month. Not good. We did move to Faslodex, but only for a couple of months as the numbers continued to be non-responsive. Additional scans showed fluid building up in lining of the lung, also caused by cancer cell build up. So, I reluctantly agreed to a chemo regimen and am 5 treatments in to a 12-treatment (6 cycles of 2 week on, one week off) with Eribulin. Continuing Xgeva. Handling the chemo relatively well (have failed at finding anyone else on this drug to compare notes); will probably wait until end of this treatment to do any more scans to see what's happening. Have had lungs treated three times by a thoracic surgeon to drain the fluid, continuing to hope the chemo will cure the underlying cause. Hope this wasn't way more information than you wanted! Hi Lola, I also have had a recurrence or as my doctor says another type of cancer this time. I have had both breasts removed with in one years time. I hope that you are doing ok on your journey. I am 55 years old and never would have thought about having cancer like I did but God is never wrong and He has His purpose so I just have to trust in Him and He will see me thru and I know that He will see you thru too. God bless.0September 2013
