Extensive blood clots were found in both of my lungs so I was prescribed Lovenox in 10/2019 and I have to give myself shots twice a day. I hate giving myself shots but it must be done. I was placed on oxygen to assist with my difficulty breathing.

I went into health crisis and was hospitalized for two days in 10/2019 after it was discovered that I had extensive blood clots in both of my lungs and my lungs were shutting down. I was placed on oxygen and Lovenox to address the blood clots and difficulty breathing.

ER Dr. Screwed up and ordered another CT with contrast that caused a perforated bowel, so not only did he end up with a colostomy on the left side and removal of a section of colon on the right side.

Today, August 11th, I am at my daughter’s celebrating my granddaughter’s 9 th birthday and remembering it was 7 years ago while traveling to her 2nd birthday I received the phone call from my doctor that changed my life forever. I am extremely thankful that I am now a seven year survivor of later stage ovarian cancer.

Feeling pretty panicky about the CTs and Bone scans since I already have a tumor in a lymph node. I can’t get past the idea that these tests are going to show its spread everywhere and then I won’t be eligible for the experimental trial that has been showing good results

Mine caused diverticulitis and 3 severe intestinal infections. Other than that the normal side effects like fatigue, loss of taste, mouth sores, and similar type expected side effects I didn’t have. I continued to work during my treatment.

I actually thought it went a lot smoother than expected and less painful. Of everything I found this to be the easiest. But I do recommend Minimal activity even if you feel pretty good as it will lengthen the amount of time you have you drained in. Mine were in for over 3 weeks because I was doing to much.

My husband has gone through a study regarding the chemo meds for Hodgkin Lymphoma infusions in 2015 14 day cycle - 12 infusions. His second round with chemo is currently happening now. He is only receiving infusions every 30 days but he is getting ready for a stem cell transplant.
