Thanks sooo much! My cancer was stage 1 grade1. My oncologist insists I take ai’s. I was going to start today. But I agree that I am not sure the benefits outweigh the se’s! I am a medical science PhD and really not a stupid person but these physicians treat me like I am an idiot for questioning them. Very frustrating. I am going to try your suggestions0March 2018

Hi! Happy new year! I self warned myself from the body scanner. It is so not fun to listen to the TSA agent drone on about how safe the scanners are as your request for a pat down goes ignored.
One time, the "conversation" went on for so long that a supervisor came to see what was holding up the line and simply waved me through.
I havent been able to convince myself to send a check for the tsa pass because, at current, I simply am not traveling enough.
Hope all is well by you.0January 2018 -
Hi, happydyad! Thank you for your inquiry re my work. When I have work in either a solo or group show, my work is for sale. My website is www.carolradsprecher.com. No prices are listed. The paintings are $600 for the ones that are 30x30". The one on this site is 36x36" and is $800. The prints are only 12x12" and are in editions of either 25 or 20. They are each $175, unframed. I usually charge $275 each when the prints are in a show, as the gallery takes 40% (unless it's a college gallery, when they usually take nothing). Remember that the prints are not handmade; I make them by drawing with a mouse on the computer (in Photoshop). In some of the older prints, I used parts of my original photos, copying and pasting the parts into the drawing - all done in Photoshop. I don't scan anything.
I taught myself enough Photoshop that I needed to do what I wanted to do. I love working this way!
Thanks for your interest. I hope you enjoy my website. I know that some of my work is a bit edgy, so please don't be offended by them.

You must have thc in the cbd to be effective. I started with just cbd and thru research found out that it must contain the thc.
Plain cbd is legal in all 50 states, but can only contain less than. 06 thc!..... That is not enough. Also look up the bad side effects of folic acid in regards to "promoting the growth of existing tumors"!
Also look at the results of eating pomegranate seeds in regards to stem cell cancer cells. It contains folic acid, but I only eat about 35 seeds a day. Also look at fresh parsley and turmeric.
I do research every day believing that someone somewhere knows how to heal me.
I had lung cancer in 2010, beat it, but in 2014 came back as neuroendocrine carcinoma... known as NET. I also do 49 hours of chemo every 2 weeks. Been doing for 1 1/2 years.0July 2016 -
Make sure that I'd you take CBD that it contains THC. I do a hybrid of 2 parts cbd to 1 part thc.0July 2016

I'm from a long line of elopers. I hitch hiked to get married-I sat on boxes of fresh caught squid. We told our kids that if they eloped, we'd buy them some goodies. My son and DIL went to a JP-took us along for witnesses. We enjoyed that much more than my daughter's wedding with rehearsal, flower, cake, photo, and wedding gown issues, etc. Then my daughter expected me to buy them goodies too. We said- NO !!!0March 2016

Dear Happydyad,

Thanks for your understanding of my WEIRD mother. She's always been that way, which makes choosing a Mother's Day card such a challenge for my sister & me! Good thing it's only once a year and that she'll be 89 in September!0July 2015

happydyad, I like that you are very pro-active in your treatment. I have people telling me to stay off the internet and quit worrying all the time. they say leave it up to the doctors. If I had left it up to my doctors I would have never known I had breast cancer until it was maybe too late. I have an appointment this week with a new oncologist and I will ask for a cat scan of my lungs because I am having so much trouble with my breathing and tightness in chest. My asthma doctor even thinks I should have oncologist to cat scan or pet scan to rule out breast cancer having spread to my lungs. I also had my breast surgeon do blood work because my old oncologist never checked it. Every thing looks good except my CO2 is high. might have something to do with my lungs.... thanks for being a great ambassador for cancer patients0April 2015

Aloha, Judy. I just wanted to tell you I saw a big heart and much compassion in your response to the post from "Olivia". I felt what you wrote was very respectful and kind. It's always a gift to see true caring regardless of what is known or not. You are a pure light and I thank you for sharing it. Blessings!0April 2015

Hi Happydyad! I was organic before cancer so I still am. I try to eat high protein with lots of green veggies but I don’t shy away from an occasional cheeseburger just for the heck of it. I strongly believe in finding the best cancer center and oncologist for treatment and listening to whatever they say. But make sure that you have a good one! So far I am about 5 years out with metastatic breast cancer and I am actually doing well believe it or not. I have had a ton of treatments, radiation, chemo, you name it but i still perform dancing off and on and i a very happy about that. I am also using legal in California medical marijuana up to 1 gram a day which might control the cancer so I am at least giving it a try although I have never used this stuff before so I admit it is making me fly around the room a bit!!!! Lots of nuts, lots of fruits and veggies and I strongly also believe in the hormone treatments. I have spoke directly to oncologist who say it is more important than chemotherapy and I believe them after all I have seen, so I am doing traditional and non-traditional which is what my old boyfriend did who has lived well and successfully about 19 years post treatment for stage 3-4 HL.0February 2015

Hi happydyad. I think we have the same diagnosis. I see you recently underwent surgery and reconstruction. I am curious as to how your recovery went. I see my surgeon today and the plastics tomorrow. I think I am most anxious about the recovery period and hoping I am not going to need tissue expanders. I complete my chemo in 2 weeks so sometime in the next month I will be having my surgery. Any advise you can give would be most welcome. Thank you.0November 2014

I am stage III, 6 and 2 cm tumors when masectomy was done with 13/15 lymph nodes positive. I too am ER/PR positive and will start tamoxifen and radiation at the same time (within a week). I do not have any personal info on the effectiveness of it but I'm going to take it in order to use everything that is available.0November 2014

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer.
