Good morning Dave. I join with others who are trying to keep this site running. It appears it goes well for a few days and then just drops off. What, if anything, is being done to find a moderator for the site? Is WhatNext just an idea that has run its course? It is such a great resource for information, fellowship, etc. I hate to see it go away.
If you have an active role, many of us would be very interested in any news and/or information you can provide as to what may be done to get this up and running again.0September 2021 -
Dave, as founder of WhatNext, I hope you recognize that the emails about site activity is a valuable part of what makes the site useful and active. At some point after we lost Greg these emails stopped being sent. Is there something I can do to help get this going again? Thanks.0May 2021

Hi, Dave Waz. I’m a longtime WN member. I’m reaching out to you for help.
WhatNext has been an exemplary source of help to so many cancer patients, survivors, loved ones, and caretakers. Since Greg’s untimely death, the site has deteriorated to the point where new questions don’t appear under Questions; the Digest doesn’t come regularly (I haven’t had one since four days ago).
ColbyR is trying, I know, but it seems that he has many other, more pressing things (understandably) that take priority. I’m reaching out to you as someone whose name I’ve seen associated with WN for all the years of my membership. Can you help? A few of us are trying to keep this site alive, but none of us are experienced moderators.
Thank you, and be well.

Hi, Dave. Questions don’t get posted under the Questions link anymore, just to the wall of the person who is asking the question. Is it possible to fix that? It’s a vital function. Please, please fix it. Or is there someone else that can help? Several of us have asked Colby but I’m afraid that has not helped. Thank you!0September 2021

Hello, Dave. I have been a member of What Next since 2013 when I became an unwilling member of this cancer club, a club none of us had anticipated belonging to. What Next has been a wonderful site where we can ask questions, vent, and/or support each other through our cancer journeys. I'm sure you know of the passing of GregPWN, a moderator who ran What Next like a well oiled machine. Sadly since we lost him, notifications and digests have reduced to a trickle; multitudes of unwanted spam links have come across questions we are following; and we're all just floating around here doing our best to keep our heads above water as far as this site goes. Is there someone you are training up to take over for Greg so our site can be restored to its former glory? It has proved invaluable for those of us who seek or receive support and have no such in person groups in our area. Please tell us this too shall pass; we're ready to see What Next come back to life again! Thank you very much. HUGS and God bless.0August 2021

What can you tell me about Adrenal Crisis? I had a terrible episode with shaking, sweating, cold , hot, loss of bladder control and more for 6 or 7 hours in the night. My chemo dr told me I had Adrenal insufficiency a few days before this episode and prescribed hydrocortisone. I have not been able to get intouch with him yet.0January 2020

Losing a love one is hard at any age. Did you try Cancer Treatment Center of America? They have a location in Chicago.0June 2012

Hi, Dave...I need to ask more questions but I can't because it says I don't have a diagnosis....but I do. I've filled in the diagnosis over and over but it still says that I need one...please help0February 2017

Thanks David. Was just diagnosed on Friday with IDC. First consultation appointment is next Friday with a Surgeon. I don't know stage yet. I am at Kaiser Roseville. My first question is how I can go about finding the best doctors at Kaiser (even if I have to go to Sacramento or other surrounding Kaiser's). Information is scant on doctor selection, second opinions on treatment, etc. Not comfortable with random assignment here. Any suggestions where I can find information?0January 2017
