Hi glam,hope your husband is doing ok. Life is really full of miracles and u are one of them. Care givers are the essence of courage bestowing their shoulders for their loved ones to rely on on their time of need, so they can win their fight and u are fighting two battles . That is what i call courage. I am from Bahrain and i know some of my boy's Brazilian friends who speak only English with me . The rectoscopy showed no need for surgery because the doctor said it would worsen the symptoms i am feeling right now. He said the radiation is the cause and if i can manage the pain without surgery will be better. Keep your strength up .we all here pray for u .

Hi, I have been reading your wall and It helped me a lot. I am a stage IV colorectal cancer survivor who finished chemo/radiation last year. Currently, I am on antibody therapy and will have a rectoscopy next week to decide whether I require an operation or not. Do you know of anyone who had an operation after chemo/radiation? I apologize for my English language skills, as it is not my first language. Thank you for your time, and I hope you have a nice day.

Glam, what new chemo are you on? My daughter, colon cancer 4, had a very hard time with all the chemos.

Glam, how are things going? Have you traveled anywhere lately?
I see it's snowing where you are. Personally, I don't like that cold weather, I think it's beautiful to look at but not live in. It is in the 100 's here in California, I love the heat, as long as it is a dry heat...not heat with humidity.

Amiga, sorry it has taken me some time to respond. Your last reply shook me. I am hoping that your test come back with all being well, and I hold you and your husband in prayer.
I continue struggle with this path God has put me on. I grow tired of these treatments and the side affects. They say I am stable for now, i dont think i will ever hear the word remission again. I am not sure when the next scan will be. Please let me know how you and husband are doing.

Hope you have a safe trip and a wonderful time with your family. Its funny how family heals so many things! I am doing well, the erbitux has not worked so they are going to do something different. Hi, Glam! I was so happy Brazil won yesterday. Neymar!!!

I have a friend abut to embark on this journey. Any recommendations for her as she gets started? She is Stage 3, no lymph node involvement, however some of the cancer mets to her bladder were left during surgery. She has a colostomy.
