Hi, Thanks for the response. Yes I have lots of problems going on. I try to eat right, been eating in my sleep, find food wrappers or containers empty in the morn. have never done this not sure why.
how are you doing?0June 2013 -
Dear Ydnar2xer,
I read with interest your reply to Kingscroft whose partner was ill and taking his illness out on him. You wrote that "....Cancer was such a cruel illness..." It certainly is! I also just was released from the hospital 2 days ago for cellulitis, but I can assure you that as a Lupus patient as well as a BC patient, that any major illness affects a patient and makes them turn inward and if it causes enough physical pain and it's their nature, makes them more self-centered. This is completely natural and "normal" under the circumstances.

Hey! It's been forever since we've chatted. Congrats on the expected grandbaby. I'm watching my youngest right now. She's 8 mths already. I think time flies faster with grandchildren. Time for you to stock up on baby supplies. Glad to see that you are feeling well. Later, MLT0November 2016

Hi, Ydnar2xer. I just wanted to say that I really liked your comment on ItsMeJennifer's wall (in reference to her mastectomy tomorrow). I "liked" it but I still just wanted to tell you that. Really nice comment.0January 2016

In follow up to your question about faith/cancer, I wanted to clarify something. God does not give anyone cancer. He never promises us an easy life, but He does promise to be with us through our trials. I hope that helps.0February 2014

I have my first chemo treatment next Tuesday. I just saw that you call it "Grandma juice". I just love that! This will be my happy thought going through this. My first grandchild just turned one last week and I have two granddaughters expected in June. Gonna take my Grandma juice and see these granbabies grow up!!! Thanks for the inspiration!0April 2014

Ty for the message. Everyone uses get mad.I have yet to really do that. Idk why I haven't. It could be I'm afraid of not being able to keep myself from totally not being in control. Since I found out I have cancer I truely have put the anger some where else. I don't have to many crying spells and they only last a day. And I go from there. Well good luck to you and take care.0December 2013

So when you are feeling better, what are the three steps of this procedure? I'm considering a DIEP bilaterally after radiation.0November 2013

Thank you, Ydnar2xer! I, too, get very tired of all the "god," "god," "god" stuff. As you said, Whatnexters should try to remember that having had cancer doesn't automatically mean one is a believer in any religion. Let's keep in touch! Best, Carol.0September 2013

Thanks for the update. I'm not so good about checking in either. It's so nice how the nurses make the chemo room fun. When someone has their last treatment, our nurses dress up in costumes and sing "Hit the Road Jack." They gave me a party on my 100th treatment. I'm glad things are moving along for you, although the process is always a long one.
Take care!0September 2013 -
Yo got it Boo.
Wow 97 and 85..God bless. May we all live this long.
You already know..enjoy them.0September 2013 -

Hi! Great to hear from you. I'm doing fine. What a horrible thing to say. Some people certainly make their god unappealing. Interesting timing to hear about this. Just last night I was reading Christopher Hitchens's "Mortality." He wrote about the comments he received regarding his cancer; some people said that god gave him cancer of the "throat" because he was a blasphemer. Hitchens said that his "throat" was hardly the organ with which he had most often committed blasphemy!0November 2012

my mom has cancer for a third time and she is a good person. Thank you for making me smile and laugh.0January 2013 -
Ydnar2xer, thank you for the positive thoughts and good advice. Tomorrow morning I go to the hospital. I made it to 50 with nothing wrong with me, I must admit I was angry at first. This is all new to me, what stage, what grade, what to expect it is all confusing, the blood work, just about everything. I am thankful now to have found this site so I can communicate with other woman going through similiar experiences. I think it's going to help me vastly in my recovery.0March 2013

I read your story today and wanted to let you know that you are a woman after my own heart!! I have used laughter and humor through out my ordeal. Still get nervous right before my 6 month PET scans, but eventually talk some sense into myself. Good luck to you!!0March 2013
