Happy New Year Wishes!

I am just writing to say I hope everyone on this site has a good year ahead. I know we are all struggling with various things - I, for one am trying to make a decision whether or not to switch to tamoxifen(instead of anastrozole) because of my bones...more on that another time. And I am sad to learn of a childhood friend I am likely to lose soon to pulmonary fibrosis. So things are not exactly rosy, but when you think about it...they seldom are! So, no matter what is in front of you, there is always the possibility of things getting better. We have had enough life experience to know that is true.
So here's to 2022 - May your glass always be half full!

Happy New Year to you, Marcie, and your loved ones. I am sure it is hard to decide if you should switch to another medicine, especially if it is keeping your cancer from coming back. I am sorry to hear about your friend. I hope that 2022 is better for all of us. Wouldn't it be nice if things improved with the What Next site? There is always hope.0

Thank you for posting New Year wishes, MarcieB. I was going to do it but got sidetracked. Re possibly switching medication... Yes, that can be a tough one. I hope you come to a decision that you are peaceful with. And I'm very sorry about your friend.
Happy New Year and hugs to everyone on WN.0 -
Happy New Year! I’m so sorry about your friend. I stopped taking Anastrozole after being on it for 3 months. The body aches and cramping were awful. I’ve been taking Exemestane for 3 years. I think both of these medications ( all AI meds) deplete calcium but what options are there? Good luck to you. Stay strong.0

Yes, things seldom are rosy. And if they are, they change to less rosy.
Here’s to the new year!0 -
Lol, Carool!
I guess our new year's hope is for this year to be "approaching some semblance of rosy "
