My doctor recommends I start on Trodelvy; need to have port put back in...questioning if I can handle it. Does anyone have experience with this chemo?

Yesterday another member here posted the same question for her friend. (maybe that's you?) The poster goes by judy3cats, and the question is posted on her home page instead of under 'Questions" - where it should be. We are trying to get that fixed!

If you enter her site name (judy3cats) in the search bar, above, it should take you to her page and you can read the answers there. It includes some good information.

Please know we are all pulling for you. I am so sorry you are facing this again, but I have no doubt you can handle it. You just need some time to gather your strength and get your head in the right place. You have already proven you are strong - tap into that.

Believe, I posted on your wall but then saw Marcie must have put it in right place. You are worn out but I do Believe you have the strength for this.

Shoot, I just tried the search myself and came up with noting. I am posting a link that might work if you copy and paste in your browser? Or you could try typing TRODELVY in the search bar? This site is so hard to navigate, but I know people are working to straighten out the bugs.

I have not had Trodelvy, but it may be a future treatment. I ask my oncologist questions about it often. Last time I asked how people were tolerating it. My PA said most do very well, main side effect is diarrhea. She said the Xeloda I take is a harsher treatment than Trodelvy. I would like to know if there is a way to test for TROP2. That's the protein (I think) that is targeted on the cancer cells. My ? for my next visit. I hope you do well on this.

    Hi, Believe8053.
I'm sorry but I can't give you any information. I goggled it which you've probably done. I don't think I'll ever be on this drug, either. I'm not TNBC, but have MBC in my lung.
    I wish you the best.
