My last radiation was in early February but I still have pain. Just had follow-up CT-scan and pain seems worse. Is that putting burn on burn?

I’m not a medical professional, only a breast cancer survivor. I think CT scans never burn. They’re nothing like beaming radiation to a specific area. I hope you can get quick relief.

Have you told your doctor? If not, I'd let him/her know.

The CT scans don't add up radiation. Your body is still healing from the radiation treatments that you have just completed. I suggest calling the radiation doctor and let them know - they can suggest what you can do for pain relief. Sometimes, a sitz bath or just sitting in a warm tub will help.

As the others have said, the scans shouldn't add anything to your pain level. It's a totally different level of radiation.

Try to get hold of someone at your clinic and talk about it with them. You need to discuss before you have the next scan. Please be safe.
