Well, I aleady know you because of our love for animals!! They are truly amazing and healing; mine always seem to know what I need when I need it. We are only human and it is so hard to know the right thing to say. I will be talking to my son and have no idea what I have said to upset his apple cart that day; I only want to make things easier but with cancer that's hard. I share the frustration of "it's a treatable cancer"; very curable. I want to scream "but, that's not the case with my son"!! Take good care and hope you have a memorable week ahead. Many good wishes being sent to you.0March 2014

You need to write a book on how you trained yourself to sleep When I was young I didn't require much sleep. During my college days I could exist on little to no sleep if I had to and could function without any problems. I feel for your husband because I know how he feels. My husband can sleep anytime. The harder I try to sleep the more frustration I get. I never know what triggers the no sleep nights. Good luck to your husband and thank for being a teacher. I have three children and they all have teaching degrees...only two are teaching and one went into the business world. Take care and thank you for the post.0February 2014

Hey Meyati, I sent you an email but it came back to me. Would you please send me an email to greg @ whatnext . com so I can resend to you? I have a survey opportunity for you that you may be interested in about Basal Cell Carcinoma.
Thanks0February 2014 -
I was once interviewed by a TV crew while receiving chemo. I told the cameraman that I was getting ready to throw up, and he jumped back so fast it still makes me laugh. When I laughed I was distracted from blowing chunks. ;-)0January 2014

If you wish, please contact me @ yahoo under the same nick I use here. I am in the middle of reading something you might like to see. It talks about fighting strep and other bacteria with relatively simple methods. There MIGHT be something new in there for you. It is overly long but if you start at chapter #13 and pretty well ignore the sales pitches, there is a fair amount of information to be gleaned. I have been considering buying one of the machines talked about. Of course, without income, I am terrified to spend anything but I really want to feel better before I leave the planet and I know you know what I mean. xoxo0November 2013

Ooooh, I so very sorry about you losing your Mom.
Still you are lucky to have had her near for as long as it was.
I'm glad you and your brother will be in regular communication from now on.
I had the holidays with raw foodie friends. It was very pleasant. 12 people and relative peace and non chaos. I've no family of which to speak so please consider yourself lucky for you having one.
Stopped by to thank you for the chuckles .. what it takes to make one happy indeed.0December 2013 -

Meyati...yes you get it. The last thing someone with cancer should have to deal with are the feelings about how others think they should behave. I just think some people are very self centered.
Hope your remission lasts forever.0December 2013 -
that was sweet what you wrote awhile back on my blog, just wanted to tell you that.:)0December 2013

Hi, Thanks for answering my questions. I'm in process of having thyroid checked now, should have results in a couple of days. Although painful, I did have complete recovery from surgery ( remove large tumor growing just behind last molar on one side of mouth), felt great after 3-4 weeks. That Radiation was another story though, wow. I'm sitting at 2 months now, and see very little change in condition. Oncologist thinks saliva glands on non-radiated side ( one side destroyed by radiation ) will recover in 1-3 years, I hope she is correct, as this dry mouth at night is awful. Do you or have you had dry mouth condition, and are you aware of any treatment or products that help and/or are long lasting? I only sleep now in 15-20 shifts waking to moisturize mouth, so if you have any suggestions I'll try 'em.0December 2013

I just read your answer to a post about someone's brother having trouble, and in turn she was mad about the whole "cancer" thing. I read the part about someone taking a picture of you and making mean comments about it.
I'm from the south, and there's a special place down by the creek that friends and family would take someone and handle something like that. I'm so sorry that ever happened to you, but just remember other peoples "stupid" is not our fault.
Thanks for your answer to that, and all the questions you help on. We think you're "special".0August 2013 -
I thought you might want to look at this study:

Hearing someone elses story helps, sometimes is worse than what you are going thru. I am a very active person, so I am flustrated, and just want to feel better. to breathe out of my nose. not my mouth 24 hrs. a day They tellme it takes time to heal from the radiation treatments. So I am trying to be patient.0July 2013

Hi Meytati I am a DOD Army civilian. I dont have Tricare I have GEHA. Korea is so differ from states they want all funds up front no aid or payment plans. I contacted my ins company to see if I can get a GOP ( guarantee of payment letter) letter and they will not do that. I have tried . I often wonder how the people of Korea get health care if not insured or lack of income. I even tried getting korean health ins. but I got refused because of existing. condition. So I have no choice to wait and keep searching in Korea for and praying that I resolve this soon.. real soon0July 2013

Hi; I read about your dog bite. If you drink tea, alfalfa leaf will help you to heal from an infection because it is a blood purifier. Raspberry leaf (Traditional Medicines) will give you a little strength. You can drink/brew them together. I don't know where you will find it but there is a weed called "mullein" which will not only help but will turn your tongue green until the infection is gone. And horsetail is specifically for wound healing. Hope you heal up quickly. Bad dog!!0July 2013

Thanks for the tips meyati. I got as far as adding a second diagnosis then it shows up in red incomplete. Come to think about it that is exactly what is happening with my Drs. What happened was. I went to the Dr. with symptoms of what I thought was an injury. Tests showed that I had Uterine Cancer. Pathology found a tumor that was indeed Uterine Cancer. But wait uh oh there's another tumor there and it is my old adversary esophageal cancer. That throws my Drs. into a big jurisdictional fight. Finally they my case is refered to the tumor board. They give the go ahead to the medical oncologist who is treating the esphageal cancer. Now how do I put that on my double diagnosis journey?0June 2013
