hi Greg, from time to time I try to answer posts and when I hit the comment button nothing happens. I keep trying but it's useless. This happened on your recent post about any other conditions we might have. I posted about the aortic stenosis and you were the only one that answered and I'm trying to reach anybody that I can. Is there anyway you can post the reply I typed below just saying it was from Lorie?

Aortic valve stenosis which I posted under that title last week.Not sure if the radiation caused it but it is one of the side effects. Cardiologist said that open heart surgery is the answer when it gets worse but I've heard there is another procedure called TAVR and I'm anxious to hear if anyone else has faced this diagnosis
another issue is a indeterminate finding of possible lymphoma in a polyp during a colonoscopy. I have to have another one but I'm putting it off. Had a scan afterwards and it was clean.
I really sailed through the lumpectomys and radiation but these two findings have kind of floored me I'm not used to all these doctor visits and I'm very inquisitive and don't get good answers from the new Drs and then have to go for second opinions. I don't mean to sound like oh poor me but it's all so new to me cuz I was in good health and just needed to vent.

Greg if it were possible to required that the profile be more fully filled out before posting. Perhaps the survivor, caregiver, spouse/partner line; the specific cancer selected from the DIAGNOSIS page and one journey entry should be required. This might discourage the bad guys

Greg, I was just wondering about how your mother-in-law is doing when I saw your post on the opioid discussion. I'm about to start P.T. for my back, and I was wondering if she's doing P.T. and how it's working?

Since they won't give her more opioids, I hope they can find out why she's in such pain and really treat the problem to make it feel better. When you aren't terminal, being on opioids isn't a good way to live.

When I complained about being very achy lately, my Rehab Medicine doctor told me this week that the hurricane and barometric pressure changes have made everybody more achy than usual. My legs and fingers are hurting right now. I didn't know if your family knew that was a factor, but wanted you to know in case she's been more achy lately, there's still hope for her to respond to her new medicine. Best wishes.

Greg, perhaps you could Intervene on the “ what do you think “ thread. Comments between geekling and meyati seem to be getting out of hand. I think both ladies are great and are a great asset to WhatNext . I tried to say enough is enough but they seem to continue to argue . Perhaps it will be all over when you check it out. I hope so.

Be careful with the ibuprofin- I always took it to sleep better and after my last chemo treatment I ended up in intensive care for a week with a hemoraghing ulcer. The doctors said it was from using too much ibuprofin. Not pretty. Just saying...

So, Greg, I took your advice - and I bought the concert tickets! Many years ago the Eagles came to town but I didn't buy the tickets because they were so expensive. I've regretted it ever since. Well, they're coming back in September and the tickets went on sale this morning and I bought them. By the time it was all said and done with the cost of the tickets and fees, etc., they were outrageously expensive (at least to me) but husband and I decided to go for it. Thank you for the good advice. And after the concert I'm sure I'll be thanking you again! :-)
