Hi Fiddler,
I read your request today. I'm your age & sometimes, just one more thing to think about or do is just too much. Several times, I've stepped back. The site has changed since Greg's passing. I don't see very many new people interested in the site. I wish you well.0July 2021 -
Hi, Fiddler. Some of us WN old timers are writing to others who haven’t been on WN recently, to find out how they are. We’d love to hear how you’re doing.0April 2021

I have not had the tumor taken out, they are doing chemo first. I was not asking for PET scan. I am letting the doctor do their job, but i know I have to be my own advocate. If a CT or MRI is not done how do they know if the chemo is working. That is my concern.0August 2018

Boy you really started something, did you not? Lol. Now you are being accused of being everything from a Nazi trickster type cajoling folks to a slaughter to a desperate person with no outs to a Frankenstein monster for which the villagers need to go get and then light their torches and chase the freak out of town.
I takes a lot of guts and insight to get folks so riled up in their desperation. Congratulations for kicking up such a furor. Seriously. :-)
An old saying goes that first the Truth is vehemently opposed, then it becomes grumbling tolerable, and finally accepted as a matter of fact.
If you have the cash, have you looked into Optimal Wellness in San Diego and Austin or the Hippocrates Health Institute in WPB or?? I am sure there are more but these are the two oldest and most well respected alternative centers in the US. There is the Ann Wigmore Institute in Puerto Rico but who knows what shape it is in since the storm?
Or you could check out MD Anderson in Texas.
Very best wishes.0February 2018 -
Thank you for your response to my question-it really helped. It is better to put that positive spin on the stats. The alternative was really getting me down!0September 2017

Hi Fiddler. Guess what our cough and chest problems were caused by the same thing. I saw my PCP on Wednesday she looked at my sinuses and said they were majorly clogged she prescribed generic Flonase and said they should be cleared up in about 10 to 14 days barring any more fires0September 2015

Hi Fiddler,
It's AlizaMLS. I posted a reply to your comment on meditation back on that question's site, so you may want to take a peek if you're not following the question or me. Thanks for your input btw, I've known a few people who've practiced Vipissana.0March 2013 -
I try to embrace the good news part of my diagnosis--Stage I, small tumor, found early. The bad news part, TNBC, I try not to think about. I feel I've done all I can--bi-lateral mastectomy and chemo--and one year later, I'm doing well. Just last week my oncologist told me I don't need to see him for six months. Our best weapon against TNBC is chemo. Do all you can to fight it, and then try to move forward. Good luck to you as you continue your treatment.0January 2013
