You asked David about signing in. It's not the same as a new member, it's just you signing into your account so people know who commented or answered for them. You can click the keep me signed in button and not have to sign in as often.

hello and how did you do with your surgery? Hi and thank you! My daughter had a a brain MRI which was good and a CT scan of thorax and abdomen. This showed haziness, increase in size and number of lymphy nodes in left axilla. PT scan has never even been mentioned:( Her WLE and SLN was done on April 13, 3 lymph nodes "lit up br ght blue", however, he only took out one?????? This one showed 2% melanoma in subcapsular level of capsule..(whatever that means) she is now going in Friday for complete node dissection. I'm wondering if he took out those other 2 originally what would still be growing? I'm so scared for her with mitotic rate of 25, nodular and ulcerated but praying it didn't get too much into the other nodes....4 weeks in between.....You give me hope as you started your journey close to her age now and still here to help!!!! Thank you!!!!!! xo

we were all told to get checked after Meredith's diagnosis. All I know now is 0.3 thickness and he sees the surgeon Wednesday......Perhaps a blessing in disguise but 2 kids in 6 weeks is almost too much for this mother bear.....

I saw that you named your melanoma Frank. My ex-husband was also named Frank. He was a miserable SOB so it seems so fitting to have someone name a melanoma Frank! Love it!

Hello and welcome, we are happy to have you with us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

    https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/skin-cancer

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx. Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the database to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall. Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also.
