Trying to finish my profile, I keep getting a message on my profile
"Stage of Treatment is incomplete", and trying to get into my profile to edit- I now have 3 cancer diagnosis. I went to help and followed instructions for journey and then click the event. All it deleted was the event-not the cancer diagnosis. Right now I want to unsubscribe-drop membership-and then rejoin. Nobody likes to appear stupid, but I publically look stupid with the 3 cancer diagnosis.

    Hi Greg,
Could you please hook me up with "momanspach" and give her my email address or give me her email address. I have recently received a message from her not knowing how to contact you. Thanks for your assistance.

Greg, just to point out something that may or may not matter, "tickling cancer" did not lose a nut. His testicular cancer manifested itself in his abdomen. Sort of like a testicular cancer outside of the testicle. Just speaking for myself, I think the emotional makeup of losing a nut creates a separate identity from those that did not lose one.

I had a lot of followers and those I was following starting last year. When I logged on with this new PC, these are missing. Would like to pull them back (if can bed).

GregP I would love to locate @Peroll as you say "he was told the same thing I believe about 76 years ago." etc. I have no idea where to look for this kind of an address. Thanks.

Hey Greg, when I first joined there was a button on everyone's page that allowed someone to contact them via the WhatNext. I used this several times and found it very helpful. What happened to it?

GregP, I noticed that you said you have relatives in Eden Idaho. Here distances are relative. It is about 125 miles from Boise. I did spend a part of my childhood near Eden. Do your family have cancer? How long have they lived in Southern Idaho.

HI. I tried to comment on your question after the Bucket List post but when I click on COMMENT it will not allow me too. Just thought you should know. I see some have commented though. That's awesome. I finally took a trip of a lifetime and was going to share.

Greg, problems again. When I go to answer the questions people post I get a message saying that internet explorer blocked parts of the site because of certificate error. Then I get multiple pages of the same one I am trying to exit out of. Is that on my end or is it a site problem. I have done a Glary Utilities clean up and complete virus scan on my computer and fixed the problems I had. Is the certificate something you handle or is it actually a server problem? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello, GregP_WN: Thank you for your posts. It is very inspirational to read about someone who is not only a survivor, but 5 years cancer-free! Although my son's cancer is a different one than yours, he is also Stage II so your journey is very motivational and uplifting indeed!

Hi Greg, have you seen bug question about Acronyms. I am willing to help work on and edit a list of medical and non medical ones that people use if we don't have one already. I think it would be really helpful. We could do at as a crowdsource project and i can manage it.

Hi, Greg. I'm catching up on my WhatNext Digests. One of your posts within the last week or so mentioned posting comments, particularly to new people, even if you don't feel as though you have a lot to say. Then you said something like, "You might be the one that gives them peace of mind for tonight." Man, that has really stuck with me. Thank you for the reminder. I absolutely want to be as helpful as I can but to think I could possibly lift someone if even a little - well, that would be something. If I could give back even a fraction of what I've gotten from this wonderful group of folks - well, that would be something, too. Thanks again. My best to you.

Yes, accelerator proton radiation was the my first step after diagnosis with Stage III rectal carcinoma. I was first tattooed at the targeted area from three angles to ensure precise beam targeting. I was then subjected to 28-days of being under a Varian ® Clinica ® linear accelerator proton radiation beam (Linear accelerator (LINAC) for about 15-minutes per session, which delivered focused high-energy x-rays to the region of the tumor. And yes, the machine did rotate to accommodate lining up of the target area from the three pre=determined angles. The intent that in conjunction with daily 5FU chemo would help to shrink the tumor from the Stage III to a Stage II, thus reducing tumor size and its infiltration of the rectal lining that then would help provide a better surgical outcome. These proton x-ray treatments are focused -- as opposed to conventional photo x-ray beams -- to only destroy the cancer cells while sparing the surrounding normal tissue. There is no doubt as with my being a Stage III, and so close to a Stage IV, this proved invaluable in my treatment and no doubt life saving. The potential side effects explained could be some urinary incontinence as so close to the bladder and some "sunburn," at the targeted site for which a special OTC cream could be used. In my case, thankfully, neither occurred.

Thanks, Greg. You always seem to know just the right thing to say. When I look around me and see people going through chemo and radiation, I know I am blessed.
