I don't know if anyone will see this but, if so...
How about if we do a Thankful Thursday? What are you thankful for today?
I'll start us off. We saw the docs on Tuesday and they said my husband's latest MRI scans are good. We are so grateful.

I am so thankful to be a teacher. An 8-year-old boy who I have worked with for the last 3 years and has a truly traumatic life came to my office today and left me a note saying: Ms. Cyndy, Thank you for loving me. I had a good week."0

Oh, my goodness. That is so sweet. And you are obviously a wonderful teacher.0

I am thankful to hopefully move forward in the repair of a fractured back by minimally invasive procedure next Wednesday. Four months of life altering pain and very limited activity can go AWAY!0

Hi Bug - Thank you for bring up this subject!
After 3 chemos (not successful) and finally the immunotherapy CAR-T, I am thankful for being in remission from double hit, large B cell Lymphoma.
I am very, very fortunate to have had the new treatment available.

Just saw this and I am always ready to hear positive things! I also had an appointment (just check-up) this past Tuesday and my radio-oncologist thinks I look great. I feel great too, so I am thankful! Teachergirl, I love your post!0

2943, a fractured back? Just the sound of that makes me shiver. The very best of luck to you next week. Please let us know how you're doing when you feel up to it.
judithj, what wonderful news. Yeah!
MarcieB, yeah for you, too!0 -
Late answer since I lost my phone and luckily found it at work!!!!
So, I'm thankful for that person who found my phone and returned it to me completely unharmed!!!
I am also thankful for finally getting an appointment with my breast surgeon!
I'm also thankful a tornado nearby diverted and soon after it dissentegrated causing no harm!!!!!
And as you all know, I am truly thankful for that subtle glimmer of light each morning along with the soft cooing of my little dove, since it's a new opportunity God has given me to continue my journey here on Earth.
Lastly, I'm thankful to all of you because you are always there for me!!!!!
Have a great weekend and remember: We got this!!!!0 -
I am just now seeing this.
Bug, hooray for your husband's good scans.
Teachergirl, that is what really makes teaching worthwhile, when you get to see that you make a difference to someone. That is definitely one of the things I miss about teaching. Sometimes you feel like you are just going through the motions and beating your head against the wall and then you get a note like that and you know it is truly your calling.
2943- Good luck with your surgery whenever it happens.
JudithJ- Hooray on remission
Marcie B- glad to see good news from your visit with radio-oncologist.
Geannie- wow you have a lot of thanks. Sorry you had to go through some of that. Definitely most glad that the tornado diverted. It may sound silly to say, but I am thankful that I live in the land of hurricanes instead of tornados. Yes we get an occasional tornado, but at least with hurricanes we have a lot of forecasting and usually a lot of forewarning.
My thanks? I am thankful for a Christmas without bad health news. Whether with myself or family, the last few years have been a little rough. So far, we are on track for a healthy and safe Christmas.0
