I am going to have to have another throat surgery after a recurrence.

My doctor says that after this one, I will have to be on a feeding tube for a few months while my throat heals. Have any of you been on feeding tube formula for that long or longer? I'm kinda nervous about keeping weight up, nutrition, etc.

I was on a feeding tube earlier this year for 2 months, it wasn't much of an issue. Pretty easy to do Now I've just had to go back on the tube, it's only been a week or so but I have no idea how long this will last. It could be just until some swelling goes down in my throat, or it could be permanent. I've talked to lots of people that have been feeding for years.

I am so sorry to read this, @NeckCancer. I've been fortunate enough up until now to not have to deal with a feeding tube. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
