    Another movie I really like and can watch over again; The Wedding Singer with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.

    Molly72, I did lots of protests but no animal rights (I don’t remember any here). I do love animals. Yes, Abby Hoffman and Jerry Rubin. The Yippies and their street theatre. Yes, Hoffman is probably cheering on the kids now while he smokes a bliff.

    My college was in the same community as a USAF air base. You could always tell who were the new faculty members. They would try to shout over the B52s ( not possible). The oldtimers would just stop their lecture until the noise stopped. Anyway I attended college during the Vietnam War era. One night the entire campus marched on the Air Force base. Led by the college president and the city major hundreds of us marched past the base. The streets were lined by gun carrying military personnel. It was very scary. All went well be it could we gone so bad in an instant. I don't think my parents ever did know I was part of that.
