I am hoping the trip will keep my mind off upcoming appt. I am hoping Florida is having better weather than we are. I don't care for overcast days, I need the sunshine. Hey Golfgirl, thinking of you this weekend. The weather is beautiful here in So. Cal. Get a little bit of the warm sunshine in the early morning or late afternoon. I hope you are feeling as well as you can be during treatment.

Hi. How was your visit to Palm Springs this week? The weather has been nice and comfortable. How are you doing with treatment? News of Mondays scan has arrived. Not so positive. Don't know what they have seen, but they saw something and now want to schedule a pet-ct scan before my march 19 appt with doc. Here I was thinking I was ok and purchased a flight last night to visit in laws in Florida for 26 of march. They were very fague on telling me what or where they saw something, better not to know anything til the 19th I guess that's what they're thinking.

Question. When you were first diagnosed, did you doctor mention anything about the possibility of removing the mets in your liver? Our doctor has said nothing about oh if they shrink we do this. I was wondering if doctors don't mention this in the beginning in wait, or if he thought they were going to be removed, he would have said something?

This is prayer for those with colon cancer.
God, you have told us in Mathew 15:13 “… Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.” God, on the basis of this Word, we root up every malignant tumor that is causing this dear one have colon cancer and we declare that this dear ones whole body is free from every sickness in Jesus Powerful Name, Amen. Colon cancer, we command you in Jesus Mighty Name to be rooted up and cast out of this dear one’s body in Jesus Powerful Name, Amen. God, every pain that these dear one is having, I ask please remove it in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Jesus, You say in your Word that we should cast our cares to you. We cast this sickness and we take your yoke that is easy. Thank you for this precious exchange in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Hi Golfgirl, I also was diagnosed with Stage IV rectal cancer in July of 2010. I know this is all overwhelming but once you get a game plan and start treatment it will make you feel a bit more in control. I also had radiation/chemo followed by a major surgery in which I had my rectum, anus and sigmoid colon removed. I now have a permanent colostomy. Although this is a difficult thing to deal with it is something that I deal with very well. I'm not saying you will have to endure that type of surgery. I wish you all the best in the coming months and will send prayers your way. I'm 50 years old and if you would like to exchange email addresses let me know.
