Hi, I had my HAI pump implanted in June of this year. I am on my 4th treatment. Scan after 2 showed 10% shrinkage. How are you doing?

Bob, we are meeting with Dr. Kemeny at Memorial Sloan next week. Here's a few more questions for you. What next steps were taken after you met with her? During the surgery, was a catheter inserted on your hepatic artery? What were the biggest concerns leading up to and during the hepatic artery infusion (HAI) process? How long have you been on the HAI chemo at this point?

Hi Bob - I've been on Irinotecan for about 15 months. In the beginning I wouldn't get diahhrea until the 5th day. Now I might get it on day 2 or 3. The pre-meds are pretty constipating so you should be ok on the train. Wishing you all the best!
Btw - I played 54 holes of golf in 2 days last week - could barely walk the next day - it was worth it!

Thanks for reminding me that "putting on the boxing gloves" sounds more like me. You are right and I spent the weekend feeling sorry for myself because I already didn't feel good and the thought of feeling worse just stinks and that is SO not me! Sometimes, you just need a kick in the rear!! I hope you have a great week!

My son is a graduate of Notre Dame Law School. We are in mourning for Notre Dame's defeat yesterday.
