Hello Joeyb, I was looking for people who had the HIPEC procedure, and came across your profile. My mom just had her HIPEC done in January 2015 and we have had nothing but complications. If I need additional insight, would it be ok to ask you, forgive me for sounding selfish, I know you have your own battle to fight and win against, I just don't know what more I can, things are seeming hopeless for my mom at this point, however, I hope your are doing and getting better. Take Care.0March 2015

My husband has developed a partial blockage and hospitalized on an NG tube...going on his 6th day. We understand it can take time to resolve. Curious, how many days did it take for you? What else helped you besides the NG tube ...and praying?0January 2015

Just read your post about your faith. I totally agree with you. We serve an awesome God who is so much bigger than cancer or anything of this earth. God bless you. Keep relying on Hjs strength instead of our own as His does not grow weary0December 2014

Hi Joeyb - I am just curious what type or types of chemo you've been on. I started with FOLFOX + 5FU + Avastin, then FOLFOX + 5FU and I'm now on FOLFIRI + Avastin.0September 2014

Wow! You've had a rough time of it. I hope your surgery went well and that you are on your way to recovery. I was slow to heal. Give yourself permission to do nothing but rest and recover. Everything else can wait. God Bless!0January 2014

Hello Joeyb I was wondering if you could tell me where you had your surgery done at.0January 2014

Where did you have your hipec procedure. My husband had the hipec operation and it takes a while but he recovered and feels good now. One piece of advice is to do physical therapy as soon as the doctors clear you -- it really helped.0November 2013

I am curious about the spread to ovaries you mentioned in another post. Do you have Lynch? One of my ovarie doubles in size then returns to normal the next time. My Onc feels this is normal but it worries me that they are missing a met. (I'm CC stage IV with liver mets and Lynch.). Thanks Paula in Colorado0August 2013

I've had over 32 treatments and know how you're feeling! We are in this fight together!!! God bless you!!0September 2013

I have surgeries on August 6 and 15. My surgeon is very experienced. three to five days in the hospital and then four weeks at home. Chemotherapy may follow after I heal. It was a shock when I learned that I have colon cancer. I hope all is going well for you. Mike aka Rain0July 2013

Welcome. Sorry that you have these challenges but remember colon cancer has a high cure rate. My hair thinned a lot during chemo also but now i have the best hair ever! Thick and curly but not too curly. I don't recommend chemo as a hair therapy strategy but everyday somebody asks me what have I done to make my hair so gorgeous. There is good stuff coming for you0July 2013
