I'm meeting doctors later this week, and I think they're going to recommend the HIPEC procedure to me.
I found the question you posted from 8 months ago, and read the answers you received. Did you end up going through the procedure? How hard was the recovery? Was it worth it?
I hope this message isn't too forward, sorry if it is.
I felt like my colon resection was major, but from what I've heard this sounds even bigger.

Hi Mikeb, so sorry to hear that you have a recurrence. Sounds quite similar to my husband who has a recurrence in the scar tissue surrounding bladder area. He is on FOLFIRI chemo 5th of 12 treatments and doing ok so far. Its tough hearing you have recurrence - but I wish you all the very best.
