Hello psue, I am in castle rock, co and just finished 28 rounds of radiation and some chemo as I could not tolerate it. Have surgery in December, then 4-5 months chemo and surgery to do a resection hopefully so I don't have to live with a permanent colostomy bag. I am 47 and found out 2 months ago of my diagnosis. Scared beyond anything I have ever been through. How are you doing with this all and what stage of treatment are you currently going through?

How well I remember the nausea and sleeping from external radiation in 2004. I am so sorry you are experiencing it and pray it helps you.

Thank you for your straight forward answer. I am so fortunate that I don't need chemo or radiation. I think that it what I dread the most I this thing reappears. Did your Aunt have any treatments for her carcinoid

Hi psue, I have a self-centered question. Did the carcinoid metastasize to the colon? I had positive lymph nodes with my tumor, although my docs tell me metastasis is fairly uncommon. Can you shed any light for me?
