My wife Pat started on Megace and tamoxifen after having to quit a clinical trial. (see previous experience). The regimen is complicated, esp when added to other med schedules: she takes tamoxifen for 3 weeks, then Megace for three weeks, and again until we can get into a trial. Her doctor has a trial, but it is not open until Covid-19 plague is gone. She tolerates it well, few side effects that she notices, and a nice break for the heavy chemo she was on for 2+years.
