Procedure or Surgery | Sentinel lymph node biopsy

Sentinel Node biopsy was done at the same time as the mastectomy. I really didn't know people did it at another time. So I just thought it was part of the deal with the mastectomy.

    Be so glad sentinel nodes were checked at the same time. Why have another surgery right away? So happy that you don't need any other treatment. Take care and heal!

    @MLT, it has been quite awhile since i looked back over my journey. I really didn't ever see that people had made comments. Thank you for the encouragement. I am closing in on the year mark since my last mammogram. Though apprehensive, I am hopeful for good results.
