This past week I had an EBUS procedure to determine the origin of newly found lung cancer. The biopsy was actually done with a bronchoscopy and I was fine. The only problem I had was some phlegm buildup. I bought a bottle of Guaifenesin which is the expectorant ingredient in cough medicine. It was a big help with my being able to cough enough to clear my lungs. Hope this helps.0

My husband had the same EBUS procedure done in 2014 and experience just a mild cough afterward. Of course, he already had a mild cough so who's to say what came first.0

I had one while having lung biopsy. No issues. One of the easiest test! Hugs!0
