how do you delete a post you made in a hurry and NOT delete your account and have to start over?

I went to WhatNext Home page and came up with no answer on how to delete. Maybe there is no deleting? I guess you have to be sure you won't regret sharing. They were overly long and I did 2 Updates. It was then that right after my updates I saw the picture of Greg P and learned he had passed away. I had recently started following him. He gave me such a warm welcome barely a month ago. I know a lot of you were close to him - he was such a very kind soul. Rest in peace Greg! You will not be forgotten.

What kind of post are you talking about...an answer that you posted to a question, an "experience"...?

I was asking where it was posted because I know how to delete an answer to a question so I could tell you how to do that. I don't know how to delete a question, update or experience, though. Sorry. Maybe someone else out there can help.

Doesn’t appear to be possible to delete a question you posted, just your answer to someone else’s post.

Thanks Bug and KB2013 for your help. I think you may be right that an answer to a question can be deleted but not the post you did under all kinds of categories. I guess the best thing is be sure you like it and wanted to share it with everyone. I had made 2 posts on the same day and then saw that Greg P had passed away. I felt I needed to delete them and felt bad about having 2 long posts. I overreacted . Be well and thanks again.

@ArizonaCarolyn. I have been in your shoes before my friend. I have posted things and wanted to delete them and been unable to do so. I think we all have a tendency to pour out our thoughts in this forum at times and sometimes we wish we hadn't spiced it up with so much sadness, anger, bitterness, tearfulness or whatever. I know I have been there.
I know, most if not all of you knew/know Greg better than I do/did. However, what I know of him- he would not expect the world to stop when he passed away. He would expect us to continue to have feelings, thoughts, emotions, good days and bad days. He would still expect us to have some super positive posts and some that really lay it all out there.
Greg never expected the world to stop for him or any of us- not in the time I had experiences with him. Many of us are still battling the beast. Some of us have been able to step to the rear and some are still on the front lines.
If you need to make a long post- then by all means make it. I HOPE no-one told you otherwise. Yes, I think we all still feel the loss of his presence quite strongly right now. I just keep feeling like he's telling me "Folks you still have to go on. You're journey didn't stop because of me." While I do not think there is a single person here that would not love to see one of his positive posts or to read his encouraging words- there is not a single one of us who would keep him here on this Earth in pain or suffering just to have him here.
We still have to let it all out.
If you ever feel like you need to let it out but don't want to put it here- maybe get a journal OR if you need some feedback- I would invite anyone to write to me fighterjen2019@gmail.com. I may not have any answers for you, but I have empathy and time to let you pour out your soul.
