A reminder for all of my fellow cancer survivors, next Sunday, June 7th is National Cancer Survivor's Day. It's sort of a big deal for us. It's a day that we can sit back and relax and look at what has tried to kill us and say, not this time. Our blog post today has some details and history about the day of cancer survivor celebration. Take a look and please share. Click here for the article >> https://bit.ly/2ZW8K0B

Thanks Greg for posting. Reading those numbers are mind numbing. Makes me even more grateful to be here as part of the WhatNext family.

Sunday should be a day for each and every one of us to pick something that gives us joy, meaning, a break from all that is going on around us, and bask in our own light. We've been to H-E double hockey sticks and back and we deserve one day just to be ourselves. What might you do?

I agree with Bengal. We have been through a lot. We need to celebrate that we went through a lot and are still here. Celebrate in your own way. Do something that gives you joy. I will probably knit outside for a while On Sunday and remember all I went through. In October, it will be 8 years.

This covid 19 reminds me a lot of my cancer journey. I was isolated most of the time because I did chemo during the winter, during cold and flu season. My only outing were the doctors office, and the hospital. Right now, my only outing is going to physical therapy once a week. But at least the weather is getting nicer, so I can sit outside and knit.
