Are you craving something from a restaurant somewhere after being cooped up at home?

I know Donna and I are looking at every food commercial on TV and craving everything. Ms. Jane has put together a list to get you primed up for when we can all go out and eat again. Take a look at it here>> https://bit.ly/3awaYWX

For some reason I have had a craving for bar-b-que chicken pizza. I think It's more to do with diagnosed stomach ulcers and knowing I am not allowed to eat such things. For my first meal out I intend to go to The Place for their Friday fish fry (technically not allowed to eat that either by who knows how long it will be before this actually happens) with a delicious "Dark of the Moon" (black and tan made with Blue Moon and Guiness). My sister and I had plannef to go to this Irish pub for St Patrick's Day. The closed by order of the governor on February 16th.

I’m craving EVERYTHING I loved to eat in restaurants. We’ve never done much cooking, and that never bothered me much, because we’d or I’d go out for dinner every so often (I’d meet friends for dinner in a restaurant — there were so many reasonably-priced restaurants in Manhattan). Well, no longer possible, and those restaurants and coffee shops and cafés may never return (and many of us may not survive this illness if we get it). Gotta start cooking more. I’m not complaining. I know many, many people have it so much worse, and many have had it so much worse long before the pandemic. And, here, many are dealing not only with the pandemic but with cancer and its treatments. I’m just saying how I miss, well, a lot, including restaurants.

Our restaurants are open for take out and delivery. I had a lovely pulled pork sandwich with potato salad and banana pudding on Saturday. I've carried out Chinese and deli, too. I'm trying to order from the local restaurants, as they are really hurting right now.

Many of our restaurants (and bars!) are open for curbside pick-up or delivery. This does concern me somewhat. If I'm not safe getting within 6 feet of another person do I really want to eat food prepared and packaged by others? We assume precautions are being take but.....

I meant to say our favorite pub closed on MARCH 16, St Patrick's eve. Bummer. We had also planned to celebrate my birthday

Geez. ..Why didn't my whole message send??? I was saying, we had planned to have my birthday extravaganza at the pub this Friday as well. I was just talking with my sister on the phone and we had both had the same idea! Give them a donation for the amount we WOULD have spent had we been able to go. I know restaurants are struggling.

This morning I told Mr. that I would like some Hooter's wings. Sounded good, but then talked myself out of it. I'm fixing my beef BBQ. I might even have a Christian Moerlein with it. When I cook anything, I make enough for several meals so I don't have to cook. Freeze, Thaw, Heat & Serve.
