My doctors appointments have been cancelled, deemed, "not needed"

I am doing better now, and would agree that I'm not where I was a few months ago. But still, for someone that needs to be at their doctors offices, I'm not sure how that is working. Are you able to see them when you need to?

Our local hospitals are doing the same thing. Unless it's something that is urgent surgery and procedures are not being done. Elective surgery is being canceled for now.0

I am getting a weekly series of 5 cartilage replacement shots in my knee. I've had the first 2. Keep wondering if I'll get all five before they shut down all non-essential procedures. The doctors office called yesterday and I was sure they were going to tell me not to come in but it was just to change the time. So far we have zero confirmed cases still in my county.0

My physical therapy is going from three days a week at the office to one day at the office and a video conference one day a week. I m only two weeks out of my second knee replacement. I'm really worried that I'm not going to heal as well as I did the first time.0

My every 3-month "let's watch and see" appointment was pushed to June from April. I hadn't had my port flushed since January. I had a flush scheduled for today. They called yesterday to postpone it until May, I think it is. I pushed my scan back to closer to time of the new doctor appointment time, but if I hadn't done it, I suspect the clinic would have.0

I have a CT scan scheduled in July. We'll see where we are at that time. My company policy sort of sucks. I missied a day a couple of weeks ago from a sick stomach. I was told I would need a doctors note to return to work. New policy. So I had to go to te doctors office. Told my boss that is the one place I would probably catch Coronavirus. The doc wasn't too happy about either. Right now I am self isolating. My hubby has COPD & is 60 yrs. old. Sooo-0

I got my third cartilage replacement shots this morning. Doc says since it's a 5 week series he will try to keep the schedule and finish all five but he's not scheduling and new treatments. We had our first confirmed case of Covid19 in the county yesterday.0
