Have you reached all of your goals for the week?

For me, getting my feeding tube taken out (yanked out) was the first thing, then that turned into a 5 hour stent in the ER. So my goal then turned into recovering from the intense stomach pain from the tube yanking. As of today, my belly is still so sore it hurts to roll over in bed and when I get up out of a chair. Other than that, I'm good for the week. It seems that no matter what we want to achieve for the week the goal line keeps getting moved back.

Never! The unexpected keeps cropping up. My goals for the coming weekend and next week were to find some time just to relax and "maybe" get started on some spring cleaning. (OMG this place needs it bad). Finally went to the doctor yesterday because of congestion and a cough that just wouldn't quit. Seems I have bronchitis. Yippee. So now I'm on medication, feel like crap and under orders to get plenty of rest. You are so right about the goal line keeps getting moved on us.0

Well I do not have a fever, cough or shortness of breath. So yes I have accomplished my goals for the week0

Well I didn't have to go to the hospital so I guess that's something.0

I finally got over 6 1/2 hours of sleep last night, which has been a goal for a long time. So it was not a weekly goal, but as you know we take any milestone as an accomplishment.
Greg, you just keep inspiring people with each and every post. Thanks.0 -
Even if you do not reach your goals, the fact that you set goals is an achievement.0

I subscribe to the theory that if we set more goals than we can accomplish this week that we will never be bored.0

Hubby and I got quite a few small things done this week culminating with a dinner out with our son and his girlfriend. Oh, and our 12 year old granddaughter's basketball team made it to the finals the next morning!
