Thank you marshala1, attypatty, and Greg and all. He was a wonderful son.... so precious to me, my youngest child and I miss him so! I've got two precious voice mails from him....that I cherish; I've got to figure out how to preserve them. I cannot thank each of you enough and this site for all the support you give each other! God bless each one of you... I pray for all of you and your families~

I haven't been on the site much lately but just read these updates. My heart hurts. Nathan, you gave so much to many here on this site and you will be missed so much. Being a young adult I felt a connection to you when I joined Whatnext. You brought smiles, laughter and you also shared the hard times this disease puts us through. This earth misses you my friend. I keep your family in my prayers. <3

There is no pain like the pain of losing a child. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my daughter when she was 28 and came upon a quote that was so true. "Real tears are not the ones that fall from the eyes and cover the cheeks but the ones that fall from the heart and cover the soul." God be with you.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Nathan. He was so young. I am so sorry. He gave a great deal of support to so many other people during his own illness it really says a great deal about his character. God needed another Angel.

Oh boy. That hit me hard unexpectedly. Your son was a good friend to me during my dad's illness. I added him to my follow list even though his cancer had nothing to do with my dad's cancer. He was just a fun person. We joked about jug bands and had some laughs, and he was always wishing us the best. He seemed like a good, kindhearted person. My heart goes out to you and your family. Thank you for letting us know. I wondered what happened.

Hey there nobrand, just wanted to drop in and say hi. Last time you said you were in a lot of pain. Hoping the pain has been less and under control. Have the docs found another way to treat this? You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending more hugs.

    Hi Nobrand,
I am so sorry to hear that the bone marrow biopsy procedure was so painful. Why in the world do the hospitals not administer adequate pain medication for procedures? There is no reason for this procedure to be so aweful.
I hope and pray that receive a good report. We are anxiously waiting to hear from you.
Love and hugs to you - you are a warrior!

Nobrand I am so sorry it took me so long to get back to you on the ginseng, but it was very hard to get my friend to sit down. So all you need is liquid siberian ginseng. Take 3x a day. You should be able to pick up at local health store or online. Best of luck to you.

HI NoBrand, Concerning the recent experience with the social worker and the Road To Recovery program, I received this from the people at the American Cancer Society who oversee the Road to Recovery program:

We are so sorry your experience with us was less than satisfactory, but we want to assure you that the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program, which provides transportation for cancer patients to and from related medical treatments and appointment, is in no way restricted only to the elderly, but rather to cancer patients who have no means of transportation and/or who are too ill to drive themselves. ACS has a vast volunteer network of drivers who donate their time and the use of their personal vehicles to make a difference for each patient they transport. Is it okay if we contact you directly to find out what happened and try to make it right?
