Hi Debbie, Just read the good news about your journey. Glad and happy you are in remission. I have been in remission since 09, I was diagnosed in 04, did have a swelling in my left neck and also had the surgery, then 22 radiation treatments. Was home free till one week away from 5 years. It came back as stage 4 in my bone marrow and and abdomen and the right side of my neck, had surgery there and 8 rounds of R chop. Plus4 bone marrow biobsies. Then Dec. 23, 09 I had Zevalin which is a radioimmuntherapy. So thank the Lord I have been in remission since then, but it somehow never leaves your mind. Have other health issues but coping as best I can. Thank you for following me. Would love to hear from you. I wish you well, Hilde0June 2013

Thanks for your good wishes. So far, we're hanging in there. It's wonderful to know there are such nice people out there that have been through or are going through what you are.0June 2013

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing that article. That was very helpful. I start 5 weeks of radiation next week after 6 rounds of R-CHOP.0October 2012

Thanks Debbie...yes it is hard returning to school. My Social Worker where i had my stem cell transplant 6 months ago was such an inspiration to me i decided that is what i want to do. I want to be able to help cancer patients like i was helped, so i have decided to become a Social Worker.0October 2012

Debbie,
I just wanted to say Thank You, for reaching out to our users. Some are kind of shy, just like in personal settings, and won't participate unless someone does first.
Thanks for your participation, and let us know if you need anything from the WhatNext Team!

Debbie, I feel great. I have been very nervous. I try and exercise and eat healthier and just really enjoy life. It has been a struggle, but all in all I am thankful for where I am. How are you feeling? Loyola has a Survivor picnic every year and it is wonderful to see how many people have 20 years.0October 2012
