Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to If I read your post correct you have elected at this point not to have treatment for your carcinoma. Why with treatment have they given you a lower survival rate than with treatment? Seeing all the battles you have fought you a brave warrior in my book -- and everyone else's book. Will pray for you and hope to now stay in touch. Keep the faith.

FIRST PSA BLOOD TEST since seed procedure..THANK YOU GOD!!! It's 1.43. Back in April before procedure it was 4.7. It was expected to go down 50%...this is better than lotto. I'm extremely gratefull. God Bless all in this fight Keeping Meyati in my prayers.

I had some really stinky experiences with Christians in my time, but who hasn't? It started as a young child, they were very pushy and forceful.
But I had no idea Buddhists had missionaries & preached to no end to other people. I have a good friend who is Buddhist & she & the members of her temple are very subdued about things like that & never try to force their beliefs on others.
We all have had different paths in life, haven't we?
I really hope that this Flute gets some help, but just between us, I don't think she will leave this crazy preacher guy! So sad.

Hi Toots, lol but you can be funny.

Grade school was weird.

I fought, in kindergarden, for my right to use the pretend tools, lol, rather than the pretend kitchenware. My Mom came to school and backed me up. I fought to use my left hand rather thsn my right hand to write and draw. Mom, ever the great compromiser, convinced the teacher that would be okay and the teacher insisted I hold p a per like all the right handers. This great bit of diplomacy still affects me. I smudge because my hand trails over what I have written.

Mom defended me when I struck back at a teacher who hit me. Long story short, I was not being sassy but needed eyeglasses. And then she saw the good sense in me refusing to get under a desk (& get my clothes dirty) for A-bomb drills. All she knew is that I had figured out a way to not add to her washing and that needed defending. I did not have to wear a white blouse on assembly days either because the Principal wouldnt pay for a new blouse for me and Mom hadnt the $$ to spare.

I had a booming voice. Girls had to wear skirts. I couldnt keep my legs closed nor crossed so rather than put a curtain on a table for a play, teacher had me to become the narrator, the announcer for every *%#* play from 1st grade through 6th. When they discovered I could paint, set creation was also assigned to me. Until 5th grade when Carol was discovered to also have a flair and became my eorkmate. Together we were strong emough to revolt and only did one play that year. Free at last.

6th grade was a big let down. I discovered that not only did my father not want me to get any specialized training but that my teacher also hammered me with "glass ceilings"for girls. That was the last grade I wanted to be anything when I grew up.

Im really happy you are feeling better. You should say that in public. :-) Please dont stop until you are completely well. Keep the stuff in your arsenal. You voice may or may not ever be the same. It may always be a little more sensitive so you really need to keep your throat and vocal chords happy. Porridge or 4 cups of tea per day please. The marshmallow is in case you were scratched. The mullein is soothing. Anything else was likely vitamin driven. Hugz sweetie. I hope we get to meet some day.

Hello, meyati. Hope you recover your voice soon. Might I suggest that you see an ENT to find out if your vocal chords are scratched or are swolen?

Slippery elm is a great anti inflammatory as is mullein. Yarrow works wonders in healing while marshmallow prevents infection.
