Hello! I hardly get on my computer anymore (work on one all day) so since I am on today I though I would pop in. Hope things are going well for you. Things are pretty good here. Kitties are still little pests, but lovable. My orange one decided to attack my head tonight while I was sitting on the couch. I have no idea what got into him. It was pretty funny.
I got my first hair cut a week ago. Just a trim to give it some style. I think I am finally getting used to the curly. Still waiting on coloring it My stylist told me I had virgin hair. LOL. I thought that was too funny. I am starting to feel better. I finally started walking on my breaks. It makes such a huge difference. Like I said earlier, hope things are well with you. Talk to you soon.

I recall you telling me you were taking Biotin. I was just doing some research (I have one more chemo to go). . Biotin apparently can also help with neuropathy. Do your feet feel any better?0May 2014

Hi ! Just checking in with you to see how you're doing with radiation. I've researched the My Girls cream. I think I'm going to use it also. (unless you tell me it's not working for you). How are you making out? ? ?0April 2014

Thank you for your response!! I too have a nutrient bullet -a gift & I love it!! I'll play it by ear & safe and see how it goes,
Thank you!!0March 2014 -
Hi walker,
How are you doing? I haven't been on site in a while. Finally feeling better. Still have one small wound in incision that is still draining. I see you are getting radiation. Hope you are doing all right with that. I am not getting radiation because the cancer is in too many places. I see the onc. the end of April. Should be getting pet scan before that. There is chemo in my future but don't know what or when.
Sounds like you found an awesome place to volunteer at. You get to read, hang out with the dogs and meet incredibly strong people.
Well, that's it for now. Catch you later.....:)0March 2014 -
Just wanted to say hi and see how you're doing with your radiation. Hope everything is going along smoothly0March 2014

You are so, so welcome! I am so happy the company is doing that for you and other patients .Whoo hoo! I regret not putting the cream under my armpit. This is where I burned and peeled. Had to put sulfur cream from doctor for that. I love your pic of your dog. What a cutie pie!0March 2014

Hi walker, glad to hear from you. The IV antibiotics were for abdominal incision that got infected and the PICC line I had got infected so it was in my bloodstream. Today is last dose of Vancomycin. I wish you well with the rad treatments. I won't be getting rad as they found cancer cells when they did the abdominal surgery. I am officially stage IV. Right now I am on Letrozole (AI).
See the onc. on Mon.
I am VERY sick of the snow! I joke with my friend in Colorado to stop forwarding all the snow to us. It is supposoed to be 50 degrees here tomorrow so I am going out for lunch and some shopping. YAY!
Catch you later.........:)0February 2014 -
I think you posted that you did 4 rounds of AC and 4 rounds of T and would be finished in early February. Was that you? I have finished 4 rounds of AC and will start dose dense docetaxel on Thursday. How did the taxane therapy compare with AC? I have heard conflicting opinions about which is harder and I wondered about your experience.0February 2014

Hi; I did not ever lose my hair .. it thinned but did not go all away. I needed the wonderful hat made by a cancer volunteer anyways because my hair became so dry and fly away it looked like a 70s afro gone rotten lol
The rosemary oil works as a stimulator. If you are game, I'll tell you how to make it. Please do not wear the wig 24/7. your scalp needs to breathe. xoxo best to you0February 2014 -
Last chemo tomorrow ! ! ! . . .have fun with the oncology nurses and the massages . . .I'm sure they're going to love it. I think it was a great decision0February 2014

Hi walker,
I had to have emergency abdominal surgery. My intestines twisted on themselves and caused a blockage. 12 days in hospital. The onc. surgeon operated and thought there was no cancer involved but pathology report found some cancer cells. Feeling a bit better.
Hope it is minor problem with your gland. I know one symptom of Sjogren's is very dry eyes. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.0February 2014 -

Thank you for responding. It seems add if there are side effects with anything i get it all. I have testing to do on Monday because of my heart. Sucks to be doing this in the winter time here. We should all be at the beach enjoying warm weather. Had a mastectomy with no reconstruct and still having arm problems but hopefully that goes away. Doctor said 4 rounds of chemo once every 3 weeks. Good luck with treatment and enjoy life its the only one we have.0January 2014
