Thank you for your post. I am 77 so I don't expect to come out of this with no lingering effects. I already had some neuropathy in my feet..,but the hand problem is new...along with darkening nails. Looking forward to going every three weeks for a gentler path. Weeks ten and eleven seemed to have more problems surface....none insurmountable...good luck0July 2014

I become an LPN when I was 42....been an aspiring Singer Songwriter FOREVER.....went to Vocational School in Hollywood Florida...I worked in Assisted Living, a School Nurse, Psych Nurse at Aventura Hospital in N. Miami for 7 years, at a year long Youth Academy called Avon Park Correctional Facility....and Hospice.
I have about 340 songs up at barrydbutler channel on youtube...check me out.
Have a great day.....and sorry I came on so strong. I want to live too and get angry that they don't have a cure....or anything better than putting poison in our veins or being Nuked......seems amazing that's all they have after all the money raised and all the years.0July 2014 -
Glad to have you as a Follower.....Maybe we just off on the wrong foot. Hope all is going ok for you.....I'm just a cynical person and have seen a lot of crap as a Nurse..0July 2014

Hi there, are you still in the radiation world? And how are you feeling? Hope everything is good and you are in good spirits. Just checking in!0October 2013

Thanks for your message. I am currently taking Doxil (chemo infusions) but have never had radiation. My breast cancer metasticized to my bones and I've broken my left up twice and had a total replacement. Now I am going to have surgery on the same hip due to inflamed bursa. It seems like it is one thing after another! Good Lu k to you! Keep me posted0September 2013

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us.Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.
https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/breast-cancer
There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.
You may also find our "Beginner's Guide To Cancer" page helpful Click Here for that=> http://bit.ly/10BQKCi
Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.
Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also.
